Chapter 7

Hi guys! I'm going to start updating every other day.. Sorry about not doing it as often. I have school and a lot of hw, but I'm finding time to work on this fanfic so I hope you guys enjoy 💜💖

Emily's p.o.v.

After school I go to my locker and try to  get home quickly, so I grab my jacket and skateboard.

I close my locker and look up to meet a pair of pricing blue eyes that are all to familiar.. Luke.

"Um hi?" I say

"Hey" he says

"Can I help you?" I say and I put my jacket on

"Um yeah you're going to the party tonight right?" He says

"Yeah, So I should go" I say quickly and turn around

"Wait Em.. I mean Emily, do you want me to pick you up?" He says and I turn around

"Um sure? Why are you being so nice to me Hemmings?" I say

"Because I felt like I was being a jerk to you" he smiles and his dimples show

"Okay" I smile

"Alright I'll see you later Emily!" He waves and I say "bye" and skate quickly back to my house

When I get home I open my front door to see that my mom and sister aren't home

My sister probably had soccer after school

I walk upstairs and place my backpack on my bed and my skateboard by my door

I put some music on and open my closet and figure out what I'm wearing

After 20 minutes of searching for a cute but not to goth outfit I finally found a blue and green flannel, ripped skinny jeans and black combat boots.

After that it's 4:30 and I decide to call Luke

After 3 rings he picks up

"Hello?"

"Hey Luke, it's Emily" I say

"Oh, hey Em I was wondering.. What's your ad-"

"What's my address?" I cut him off and laugh

"Sorry" I say after

"It's fine" he says

"It's 324 Clovefield drive" I say

"324 Clovefield drive?" He repeats

"Yeah" I say

"Oh, sorry I was talking to myself.. I was writing it down" he says quickly

"Haha Cya in a couple minutes Luke" I say and hang up

I walk into my bathroom and decide my hair is horrible so I put it into a loose French braid and I brush my teeth and reapply some concealer and lipstick and grab my phone

After that I hear a car horn and its Luke   I grab my leather jacket and leave a not for my mom that I'm going to a party and I walk out and close the door behind me

I see Luke looking down at his phone and then he looks back up and sees me and I see a smile creep into his face

I open the car door and get in the passengers seat and he looks over at me "you look good" he says

"Haha thanks Hemmings" I say and blush a little

He pulls out of my driveway and starts driving to Calum's house, which is about 10 minutes and finally we arrive

Luke looks over at me as I look at his house and the amount of people who are they at the moment and I look over at him

"I never was the party type" I say and sigh

"Hey, everything will be fine. Have fun tonight okay?" He says

"Alright" I say and get out of his car and walk up to the door with Luke by my side

I see Beer cans scattered on the lawn and I hear music blasting from speakers and I open the door to see a whole crowd of people dancing

Luke goes in first and tries to find Calum and I walk over to a table to get a drink

I grab a Coke and walk into the backyard where I see Calums huge pool, Ashton, Michael and Luke talking about something and I walk over to them

"Hi guys!" I say

"What's up?" Michael says

"Hey Em" Ashton says and side hugs me

"Nothing much" I say an I see Luke and  Calum whispering an looking over at me

"What's up with them?" I asks and point towards them

"I don't know, they've been acting weird lately" Michael answers and looks at Ashton nervously

"Umm okay.." I say and start walking towards them until I trip and fall into Calum's pool
