Chapter 4

I'm so sorry for the super late update I want on vacation and didn't have time to update :( but here's a longer chapter.. AND THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR 54 READS OMG:))

Emily's p.o.v.

After school I walk to my locker after saying goodbye to Calum and grabbing my skateboard

I take my phone out and plug my headphones in and make my way down to my house

I skate to my house in 10 minutes and I open the door and see that my mom and sister are home

"Hey mom" I smile

"Hi honey, how was school?" she says

"It was okay. I made some friends, I'm going to one of their houses to watch their band practice. I should be home by around 8?" I say

she smile and nods "well, alright"

I smile and put my backpack upstairs and go in the bathroom and check if I look alright. I fix my hair and put on a little mascara

I walk downstairs and grab my jacket and skateboard and walk outside

I look down at my phone and at the adreses on the houses which I still can see

After 15 minutes I finally get to his house and get off my skateboard and walk up to the front door and knock a couple times

I hear some muffled talking until someone awnsers the door. "Hey Emily" I hear someone mumble and I look up to see Luke

Luke? Why did he awnser the door? Okay?. As these thoughts run through my head yes looking at me waiting for a response

"Oh, hi Luke" I say quietly

"Why are you here?" he asks

"Ashton invited me to come" I say back and he steps out of the way so I can come in and walks back downstairs

I close the front door behind me and look around. His house was smaller than mine but was still really well kept and nice

I walk downstairs and see Calum and Michael playing fit a and Luke on his phone and Ashton is sitting on the couch watching them

I cough and they look at me and smile "hi Em!" Calum and Ashton say at the same time and come to hug me

"Hey guys" I smile and hug back as Michael and Luke keep staring

After they stop hugging me I ask "so this is band practice??"

Ashton laughs "no, silly we were waiting for you"

He and the others get up and walk upstairs as I follow behind and the smell of pizza fill the air

"PIZZA" they all yell in unison and run over to the counter as I stand there awkwardly

"Emily are you having some?" Calum asks

"Um, no I'm not hungry" I say

"Really?" Calum asks with a mouthful of pizza

"Yeah" I laugh

"But your so skinny.. Eattt" he says in a little kids voice

They all laugh "Calum your so weird" Michael says

"Says the boy who dyes his hear a different color every week" Calum laughs and they all 'Oo'

"But seriously Emily what do you eat?" Michael asks

"Umm none of your buisness" I smile nervoulsy

"Okay" he says

After They ate we walk into Ashtons garage where I see 2 guitars a bass and a huge drum set

They all figure out what there gonna play

"So um this song is called Unpredictable" Luke says and looks down at his guitar and starts strumming and singing

"She sits at home with the lights of, seeing life in different colors, I think it's time that we wake up so let me take you away.

We can run down the streets with the stars in our eyes, we can tear down this town in the dark of the night just open the door we've got time on our side

We can make it out alive. Hey we're taking on the world I'll take you where you wanna go, pick you up if you fall to peices

Let me be the one to save you, break the plans we had before let's be unpredictable"

His blue eyes look up at me and he smiles

I look down at my feet as I feel my cheeks getting hot "so, what did you think Em??"

I look up at them and smile "you guys are amazing. What's your band called?"

"5 seconds of summer, or 5sos for short" Calum says and they laugh again

Calum crosses his arms and pouts I look over to him and back to the others "hey, I love the name" Calum smiles "really?"

"Yeah its really punk rock" I smile and laugh to myself and Calum hugs me. Not really
