I couldn't sleep today,my head was hurting.
I went downstairs with a big blanket and sat with you.
I asked if you wanted to share the blanket with me,secretly I hoped you'd say yes so I could sit next to you instead of across.
You shook your head no,I frowned a little but I don't think you noticed.
"Don't you get cold out here at night?"
You shrugged.
You then stuck one earbud in your ear and nodded your head to whatever was playing.
The moon came out and shined down on you,it was like your own little personal spotlight as you sat there moving your head to the beat.
I pulled my knees up to my chest and wrapped the blanket around my shoulders,watching your every move.
Tv I sometimes watched when the insomniac part of me came out,but that night I found something better to watch.
So that's what I did,watched you all night till I finally fell asleep.
