I had seen you cry before but you didn't know that.
You were trying to hide your tears but it wasn't working.
It broke my heart to see you so sad,the protective side of me taking over and I wanted to fight away whatever sadness you had in you.
Suddenly you were moving toward me and,before I could register what was happening,I had my arms wrapped around you and your body was tightly pressed to mine.
No words were said,none needed to be said.
The calming breathes you were taking along with my pounding heart did the talking.
