The alarm clock blared in my ear as the sun was rising outside my window it's rays reaching into my bed and pulling me out of my dreams. I opened my eyes and the morning light burned through the open window. I finallly got up and put on my new school uniform. It was a plain gray pleated skirt that fell a little past mid thigh, gray knee socks, and black mary jane shoes. The top was a white dress shirt with a gray vest and blazer with the school insignia on the chest. I put on plain makeup and straightened my hair. Downstairs I made a toaster waffle and grabbed a glass of water switching on the telivision to watch the morning news, the weather was suposed to stay sunny and nice all day around 55 degrees. I looked down at my new backpack, it was light blue with a tan pocket that said 'Hello' on it. I brought it from home, my mom had picked it out for me. Peter had told me the supplies I would need, just the regular stuff, paper pencils and pens, a few notebooks, and my necessity earbuds.

I was enjoying my gourmet toasted soggy waffle, listening to Ariana Grande and MIKA sing the poplar song when my phone buzzed

1 NEW MESSAGE: MASON

Mason: Aye! Goodmorning love! I can't walk to school with you this morning, my family just got home and they want to chat about their weekend, I'll see you there though! Don't get lost! Love you ! xxxx

Me: Goodmorning, it's fine tell them I say hi, I won't get lost, Love you too!

I locked my phone and continued listening to music as I called uptairs saying I was leaving, I still had to find my classes. I continued down the street until the large brick school came into view. I saw a bunch of other girls wearing the same exact thing as me, and they wore it better. I ducked my head and walked into the front office. "Hi I'm new, I was told to see my classes this morning?" I timidly told the desk clerk, she smiled kindly "Of course love, would you like me to get someone to walk you around, I'm juts a little busy at the moment but I'm sure Elizabeth would love to help out!" I smiled and nodded "Thank you, that would be great as long as it's not too much trouble." I was very nervous causing my voice to sound very small and shy. She smiled and dialed a number on the desk phone ans spoke "Can you have Elizabeth come to the front to show a new student to her classes? Thank you!" She put he phone down still smiling and I awkwardly smiled back waiting for Elizabeth. The clerk must have noticed I was nervous because she spoke up, "You know, there's nothing to be scared of, if you ever need anything or something happens, come back here and ask for me, my names Mrs.Green." She extended her hand and I shook it, "Thank you, I'll keep that in mind, I'm Caroline." I smiled at her and immediatly felt a lot better knowing I had an adult who seemed to care about my well being. Just then a girl walked out from behind the desk smiling broadly wearing the required school uniform just like me. She had dark hair that fell just past her shoulder straightened, behind her glasses were a pair of beautiful brown eyes. Her hair was pulled out of her face with a headband that had a bow sitting on the side. She had a very kind face and I thought I recognized her from somewhere. "I'm Elizabeth!" She announced cheerfully, "You can call me Liz or Lizzie or whatever you'd like!" Her smile seemed genuine and that made me even more comfortable, "I'm Caroline!" I said trying to have the same enthusiasm behind my voice, I think i'm going to like this school. "Well go now you two, only have 45 minutes until class starts!" Mrs.Green prompted.

We left the office and walked down the main hallway, "So, where are you from?" Liz asked me still cheerful. "I'm from America, well Florida." I said and she immediatly perked up, "Isn't that where they have beaches and stuff?!" "Yeah, they're pretty nice, it's really hot and crowded though." I told her as we rounded a corner into my first hallway, "Oh that's too bad," She said "I would really love to visit there someday!" She showed me to my first class, and we kept talking, "What do you like to do for fun?" I asked her, "Well, Ilike playing guitar and singing, I like blogging too, about One Direction." I smiled broadly "What about you?", "I like to do drugs and drink, also I sell my body." I kept my face straight and she looked at me scared, I smiled and started laughing "I'm kidding! I like to sing and draw but I'm not too good at that, I am good at blogging about One Direction though." We both laughed and started talking about One Direction. We both had a wall of One Direction posters in our rooms, and she offered to teach me how to play guitar to help with my singing. "Like I said, I'm not too good at singing." I told her "I'm sure you're great!" she said trying to comfort me. "Thanks" I said as we arrived at my last class. "So do you get your schedual now? We have a lot together! You should sit next to me and my friends, you'd really like them!" I was so happy I had found some friends that are girls. "Sure! If you don't mind me." I laughed uncomfortably and she laughed too. "Of course I don't, you're awesome!" She sounded astonished I would think such a thing "Thanks!" I offered.
