It's the Annual Sports Competition for all highschools in Tokyo, and this time Sakuragauka High is the host school for this year. Being the member of the student council, Mio was one of the busiest student there is, for the entire week of celebration for the said event. So she can't hang out with her friends and enjoy the festival like others. There's also a rare chance to meet Ritsu, for she's too busy practicing with her volleyball teammates, and so thus Mugi, who's perfecting her executions for the cheerleading contest.

Mio's now attending her assigned task which is decorating the gym. Actually it's more like, she volunteered for this job. Even though, obviously, not the easiest thing to do, but it's a great advantage for her next plan.

Yup. She had plot a plan for her next move that requires every bit of hard work and all the luck she could get.

Remember the potion she's been dealing with?

Even though not tested, she's confident enough that it's 100% drinkable, 100% free from toxics and... 10% love potion.

At least I got a 10% rate of success. It's better than nothing. She thought, boosting the confidence she got.

You may ask what's the connection of being part of the decoration team on Mio's plan? Well, you see, Kurapika's the team captain of the school basketball club, and because of the upcoming sports fest, he spend most of his time practicing with his teammates, in the gym. With this, Mio got a chance to spy on him and perfected her scheme.

Mio's in the middle of her task when she heard the coach of the basketball team called for a break.

It's my chance. She thought and immediately drop her work and grab the a plastic bottle filled with a blue liquid -the love potion.

"Hey M, you okey? What's wrong?" Ken suddenly approached her. He noticed that Mio's been strange since this morning and he can't help but to worry about her.

Oh no. Is it really is that obvious? She thought.

"N-no. T-there's nothing to worry. I'm completely, totally, absolutely, 100% fine. Besides why wouldn't I be?" She let out a fake laugh.

The whole plan is getting on her nerves. Though she already plotted everything, even her approach, faces to make and her whole speech, there's still uneasy feeling on her gut that made her restless.

"Okey. You sure? 'Cause you looked like you got B+ in biology."

"W-what? Nah. Pssh. Totally fine... So stop worrying about me, okey. I..just have to do something, so excuse me." She passed Ken and made her way to the group of sweaty boys in their basketball uniforms, resting on the bench.

To the basketball team? Since when M got interested with those guys? Ken frowned, watching Mio approach basketball team - or the cocky and brassy type of boys in Ken's perspective.

Okey Mio. Focus. This last and only chance you're got, so you must do this right. Mio thought with the firm grip on her most prescious potion.

She scanned the site for any sign of a distinctive charming blonde. And it wasn't long for her to find what she's looking for, 'cause somehow, she always find it easy to locate Kurapika out of the crowd. On her eyes, he shine brighter than others and she can help but to be mesmerized by that light.
