MARSHALL'S POV
Fiona's lips were so pink and full. I found myself leaning closer, my eyes fluttering closed. Fiona leaned closer as well, her eyes closed. I could smell the mint on her breath. Our lips touched and a tingle shot through me, making me shiver. I squeezed her even closer, so close that not even air could get through us. Her hands flew up to my hair. She twirled her fingers in it, scratching my scalp. I poked my tongue at her, but she refused to open her mouth. She gasped when I nipped her bottom lip and I smirked into the kiss. Victory was mine!
"Oh there you are Marsh--OH MY CHEESE!!!"
I broke off the kiss, annoyed. Corrine and Christine stood there, their mouths practically touching the floor. I rolled my eyes and flicked my hair out of them. Fiona was bright pink. I floated us down to the soft grass. Fiona's bunny hat was crooked and fell off, onto the ground. Cory looked at Fiona, a hungry look in her eyes. My eyes widened.
"Fiona, when I say run, you run.", I hissed into her ear. Cory took a step towards Fi. "RUN!"
FIONA'S POV
I didn't know where I was running to or what I was running from, but it must have been dangerous if Marshall sent me away. Wait a minute! I'm Fiona the freaking Human! I'm the heroine of Aaa! I can take down whatever creature there is! I turned around and drew my sword. My blond hair fell in my eyes and i blew it bout. Instead of a monster chasing me, I saw a pink haired girl, a brush clenched tightly in her hand. I paused she was one of the girls that had, um, seen Marshall and I kissing. I still can't believe I did that! I swung my sword, slicing the brush in half. The girl stopped.
"My brush! My favorite brush!", she wailed.
Christine ran forward and wrapped her arms around her.
"It'll be okay, Cory.", she cooed.
The girl looked up at Christine, sniffling.
"Really, Chrissy?"
Christine nodded and they both stood up. Christine took the brush from Cory and waved her hands over it. the pieces vibrated then joined together, as if I had never broken it. The pink haired girl finally looked at me.
"HI! I'm Corrine, but you can call me Cory!", she yelled happily. She skipped off towards Marshall. "Come on, Chrissy!"
Marshall was looking out at the pond. I watched as Cory and Chrissy leaped on his back, covering his eyes. He struggled underneath their hold. Spells flew from their mouths and Marshall's hair flipped from pink to blue. I laughed as the spells clashed and turned his hair an ugly shade of purple. Cory and Chrissy backed off, whispering to one another.
"Um, Marshy? Your hair is gonna be stuck like that for the rest of the day...", Cory trailed off, clearly embarrassed.
A slew of profanities flew from his mouth. I giggled from behind the girls. He finally ran dry and held his head in his hands. I stepped forward and put my hand on his arm in a comforting manner. He smiled halfheartedly up at me. I tucked my hair into my hat and looked at the sky.
"Looks like I'm staying over at your house, Marsh."
Corrine and Christine both squealed at the same time.
"Slumber party!", they screeched and took off towards Marshall's house.
Oh boy.
