The morning found him sleeping alone in his king sized bed, like most mornings did. It wasn't his best scenario case but it was something he had grown used to over the years. There was only one person in the entire world he was willing to share a bed with and if that person wasn't around he'd always sleep by his own.

His tall body was taking over the entire space, with his head hidden between the pillows and his legs sprawled open in weird angles. Despite his 6 feet 2 frame and the huge biceps that poked under the sheets, he still managed to look cute in his sleep, with his curls forming a mop over his head, his nose scrunched up and his mouth slightly open since he was kinda struggling to get air from where his face was buried.

When his alarm clock rang at exactly 8.15 pm he was already expecting it, due to his heightened senses, and his left arm was quick to shoot out of the covers and shut it off before it could wake up his roommate. Their apartment was nice in a lot of aspects but it sure wasn't soundproof and his roommate could be really cranky in the morning.

The boy –or man, you couldn't easily guess his age- turned around so he could lie on his back and stretched his sore limps, a loud groan escaping his lips. Last night he and his roommate had decided to hit the gym because -apparently- that's what people their age did in order to look fit. At that moment it had seemed fun; now he regretted every moment of it. The body he was gifted with was ridiculously fragile, that was a conclusion he had made a long time ago.

With another stretch and a yawn that made his jaw hurt, he finally decided to get off his bed and start his day. Kicking off his covers that smelled like their coconut fabric softener –his roommate's latest obsession- he stood up and ripped his clothes off his body, folding them somewhat neatly and tossing them into the laundry bin as he walked into his small attached bathroom. He took out a fluffy yellow towel because he loved that color and without another thought or a look at the mirror he stepped into the shower.

Both his shampoo and shower gel were coconut scented and as he rinsed off his body a few minutes later he reminded himself to buy his own bathroom products from now own and not trust his roommate's taste. He turned off the water and walked out of the glass cabin, grabbing the towel and quickly drying his hair with it before letting it rest over his shoulders, loving the way the hot air of the apartment felt against his wet skin. He finally looked at his reflection in the mirror as he grabbed his toothbrush and a small smile made its way to his lips.

He found something poetic in the way his hair was brownish and his eyes had a hazel color whilst his face lacked of symmetrical features and yet he was being called an angel. In his entire existence he had read millions of books, heard billions of songs, conversed with a ridiculous amount of people and an overwhelming presentence of them referred to angels as humans with blonde hair, blue eyes, pearly white teeth and perfect facial structure.

Yet he had none of them.

After brushing his teeth twice –he always told his roommate that their smile was a reflection of their personality- he went straight to the kitchen to prepare their breakfast. He didn't stop to wear clothes or even boxers, enjoying the sensation this small freedom gave him; after all he was used to walk around naked and so did the other boy in the house. Clothes made them feel itchy, not to mention they restrained them in strange ways. They just didn't feel right on them.

"Good morning." Another presence filled the room just as the last drop of coffee fell into the pot. Right on time, like always.

He filled two mugs, one with extra sugar for his friend who had a sweet tooth. "Good morning Luke. Slept well?"
