The Trembling Night

Scott's POV
Mitch seemed confused so I said. "What's wrong?" "When is Melody's Birthday?" "So I asked her and she said actually in a week on August 14th." "Wow so do you want a party,or we could just go out for dinner,or ice cream again." "I've never had a birthday party,we just let them sleep on a bed and not the floor." "Really,well then what do you want to do?" "Nothing,maybe watch a movie but,nothing huge." "Ok I understand." I said. I understood perfectly,I just didn't care because I wanted to surprise her and it wasn't going to be huge just little. With Kirstie,Avi,Kevin,and... CRAP! "Mitch we have to go,now we have rehearsal today." "Crap I totally forgot come on Melody let's go." We almost sped to the rehearsals and when we got there everyone had just got there too so we weren't late,THANK GOODNESS! Melody was so nervous,she was almost not able to walk. "They will love you,ok?" Melody nodded but that didn't help her,she was still jello on legs.
Melody's POV
We were so close to meeting Pentatonix and I was a nervous wreck,I ran into a trash can and a door along the way there because I couldn't see where I was going. When we got on there Mitch and Scott told me to hide behind a wall before I walk in so I could get a grand entrance. "Guys,we would like you to meet,Melody and she is a nervous wreck and may run into the trash can on the way in but,here she is." I stuck my tongue put at him and did end up not paying attention to the trash can and yes,I did run into it. Kirstie got up out of her chair and gave me a hug,and said, "you are beautiful and it is an honor to meet you." "The honor is mine!" After I calmed down and Avi and Kevin came over and gave me a hug too. After an hour of rehearsal,we went for dinner. We of course,went to Chipotle and it was delicious. I learned more about everyone than I would ever imagine to. After dinner,we went to Cold Stone and we all ordered the same thing we did last time and Kevin,Avi,and Kirstie got the All loving no oven. I took some of Avi's and he stared at me like I just murdered his whole family. "Goodbye guys,see you soon hopefully." "Bye Melody I'll text you tomorrow." We were halfway to the car when this drunk driver came down the parking lot,super fast. I couldn't see him and a couple seconds later all I remember was Mitch yelling "STOP MELODY!" And then pure white.

"STOP MELODY!" My little girls life flashed before her eyes and I told Scott to call 911. I ran over too her,a gash in her head and a broken wrist. She had a healthy pulse so I picked her up and carried her to our car,set her down,and started doing CPR until the ambulance got there. Then we rushed to the hospital and called everyone...
