Scott's POV
We finally got to the park and we all surprised her. "Wow guys thanks,I really appreciate it!" "Yay she likes it!" Mitch said. "You guys didn't have to do this for me." "Yes we do,because we are your family,and that's what family does." I said. After cake and ice cream and presents we went home and I thought about the word they used. Family. I never thought I would ever have one. The first thing I got out was the piano Mitch and Scott got me and I started to write a song. Mitch and Scott must've heard me because they walked in and said "Wow you have a great voice Melody,is that why you are named Melody?" "Really,I don't think so but ok?" My phone started to ring and I answered. "Hello?yes this is her. WHAT I'll be there soon thank you!" "What is it Melody?" "They found him,JUSTIN IS ALIVE!" "WHERE IS HE?" "At the police station let's go please?" "Ok but he's staying in your room." "Ok deal let's go before he tries to leave!" "How long has it been since you saw him?" Mitch said. "Four years."
Melody's POV
Justin is all that I can think about and I'm worried sick about him. When we got to the station I ran out of the car and ran inside. "Where is Justin,he's 12,blonde,and scrawny." The police pointed over to a chair and there he was,sitting there he stood up when he saw me. It was like a movie part when two people are running towards each other in slow motion and then they hug.
Justin's POV
Melody was gonna be here soon and I haven't seen her in 4 years when I saw her it was like part of a movie. The slow motion running and the hug. She was so happy and so was I. I went home with them and she fell asleep on my shoulder,so I carried her in the house and set her on her bed. "So you like our daughter?" Mitch said. "I'd like to talk to the dad please." "Your looking at them." "Oh ok then yes I do but she doesn't know and she thinks of me as a big brother,and I don't want to ruin that." "Scott? Is Justin going to school with me tomorrow?" "Ya if he wants to?" Scott said "Ya I do actually." "Cool we should probably go to bed huh?" "No not yet." I said. "What Justin did I just hear?" "I said yes ma'am." "Yep that's what I thought,night dads." "Night honey,set an alarm for school." "Yes sirs." She said as she hugged them. Then she came in the room and said "I heard it all. "My eyes got huge,and I was sure I would die." "I-i-i- "Shut up ok I don't want to hear it,ok." "I-i-i- "Ok fine then if you won't shut up,I'll shut you up." She said,and then she kissed me. I didn't know what to do so I pushed her away. "Night Justin." Then she layed on her huge bed and acted asleep. She lookes so cute when she is asleep. The floor got really uncomfortable so I got I her bed with her and she put her head on my chest.
Melody's POV
When I woke up Justin was next to me in bed and I pushed him off,grabbed all of my stuff and got ready in the bathroom. Justin was still on the floor when I walked in,but this time,he was dressed and ready to go. "Come on let's go eat." "Eeehhhh." "Yes." "Eeehhhh. "Fine I'll eat all of the pancakes." "PANCAKES!" "Yep let's go." "Morning dads,how are you guys." "Eeehhhh." Then Justin said "same here guys." After breakfast i asked "Who's taking us to school?"
