Pure White

Melody's POV
I opened my eyes and saw a pure white room. I got up and quickly tried to find a door,not succeeding "where am I?" I asked and her my mom saying, "Honey,you know where you are,don't act stupid." She reached out her hand and I went to grab it quickly stopped,a light in the hallway caught my eye and it was Mitch,Scott,Avi,Kevin,and Kirstie. Mitch was talking to me and so was Scott telling me to wake up when he squeezed my hand,my first reaction was to squeeze back. A shock ran through me like a lightning bolt.
Scott's POV all I could think about was that monitor,beep a long pause and another beep,after beep,after beep. I squeezed her hand and I could not believe it,she was awake. She looked at me then Mitch and finally said a word, "Dad?" "Melody we are here honey don't worry,open your eyes." She opened her eyes and smiled then her face fell and we heard a long beeeeep. The doctors rushed in and rushed us out. We waited outside for a half hour for the doctor to shake his head no and my heart stopped.
Melody's POV
I heard the beep too and I started banging in my head,trying to wake up but couldn't. After a half hour I woke up while the doctors were outside and Mitch was on his knees crying. Kirstie looked up and I hid behind the door. She pointed to the door and said "where is the patient?" The doctor look in the room to see that I was gone and said "they didn't take her yet." The doctor looked everywhere for me in the room so I snuck out the door and rubbed Mitch's back saying "everything will be ok,I'm here." He stood up so fast and hugged me and did the rest. The doctor was so confused,we were hugging nothing and the patient was gone. Scott picked me up and set me in the bed. "Oowww!" "What?" Scott said "my BUTT really hurts!" We all laughed and the doctor apologized for the broken monitor. "Hey doc?" "Yes ma'am?" "My wrist hurts like a mother trucker,can you look at it?" "Already did and it is broken so we will cast it and you will be good to go and then I have a prescription for you and you can pick it up at Safeway." "What is it?" Scott said. "Pain killers." Scott nodded and we got my hand casted. After we got home I went straight to bed,it was a long night. "Mitch are you ok?" "No I just thought,what if she did see the driver and just didn't want to move?" "Don't worry ok it will be ok,I promise." "Ok." We went to the room,kissed good night,and went to sleep.
