Scott's POV
Last night I checked her phone to make sure she wasn't being cyberbullyed and saw a pic of some random boy she has never told us about. The next morning I got into her phone again and took it this time to see the rest. "Scott where is my phone?" Melody yelled. "I have it,I'm going through it." "Oh ok." "Who is this?" I asked and showed her the picture of him. "An old friend,nothing to worry about." "Ok where does he live?" "At the orphanage where I was." "Is he just a friend?" "Yes he was my only friend and then he got adopted and I got his number." "He got adopted before you?" I asked. "Yes he did." Melody said almost crying. I walked over and hugged her saying "What's wrong?" "He got in a fight with his parents and they abandoned him on the streets,I know where he is but he says he doesn't need help." "Honey,where is he?" "He said someone is taking care of him,some girl, he supposedly knows her but I don't know." Now she was crying and I was trying to calm her down and so I made her some coffee. She went to the TV and turned on SpongeBob and Mitch instantly woke up. "Morning honey,other honey." He said and looked at me then Melody. I wispered to Mitch "do you think we should throw a surprise birthday party for Melody?" "Ya that would be great,when though and who are we gonna invite besides Avi,Kevin,and Kirstie?" I said. "Esther might wanna meet her and does she have any friends from the orphanage?" "Yes actually." I said. "Ok then them and she doesn't want it big so that will be good."
Melody's POV
"Are you two done whispering,yet because I would like to watch SpongeBob with my dads please." Right as they sat down,my phone rang in my room. "Why does life have to be so mean to me?" Scott and Mitch laughed while I ran to my room to get my phone. After that I went back to the couch and sat down slowly and quietly,as a tear ran down my face. Scott looked at me and hugged me and so did Mitch. "He's gone,he's just gone and nobody is there for him." "Who?" Mitch said. "His name is Justin. He is scrawny and blonde but he was champ of the wrestling team." "He must need help,where was he last seen?" "She saw him last night and didn't hear anyone leave last night." I ran to my room and closed the door. "Honey,what are you doing in there unlock the door now." "I love you guys and I am going to miss you so much." "WHAT,OPEN THE DOOR MELODY,PLEASE!"
