Elizabeth, why must you come and ruin my story-telling time?!

I followed Sebastian into the kitchen. I frowned as Baldroy was about to blow the whole kitchen up, "Umm, Baldroy? I don't think a flamethrower will cook food faster. The extreme heat will just burn the food rather than cook it."

Baldroy sighed, "But how are we gonna cook some supper in time before Elizabeth gets here?"

Sebastian raised an eyebrow, "Elizabeth is coming tonight? I thought is was-"

Baldroy cut Sebastian off, "He cancelled his meeting for tonight. He said Elizabeth wanted to celebrate a birthday, so he instructed me to cook a nice dinner, and a birthday cake."

"Who's birthday is it?" I asked.

Baldroy smirked, "I'm not supposed to tell anyone, so if you don't mind I'm gonna get back to some cooking, aye?"

"Cooking without the use of a flamethrower. Rachel can help you cook, I have to attend to the master. I leave tonight's dinner up to you two. Now, you will excuse me." Sebastian said leaving the room for just me and Baldroy.

I turned around and looked at Baldroy, "The first thing we need to do is put the flamethrower away."

Baldroy gave a disappointed sigh before setting it down, "I don't get it; why does the food burn instead of cook faster?"

"Well, extreme heat leads to fire. You can't cook with fire. Period. Now, did he say what kind of food and/or cake he wanted for the dinner?"

"The young master ordered us to make a pretty cake, like for a girl. He didn't say what age though."

I nodded, "Ok, so it's for a girl. Let's have the actual cake part vanilla; make it three layers. Then the frosting should be 3 different colors: green, blue and purple. They will flow together nicely like a waterfall. Then I will add some flowers to make it look elegant.

"Simple, yet elegant! I like your thinking!" Baldroy smiled.

I gave him a smile, "Why thank you!"

-Mean while in Ciel's study (3rd person)-

Sebastian knocked on the door, "Young master, are you in there?"

"Come in, Sebastian." Ciel said.

Sebastian came into the office and bowed, "What can I do for you, my lord?"

Ciel set his pen down and looked at Sebastian, "Sebastian, I have letters ready to be sent out for the ball next week. I need you to personally give them out to each of the people invited."

Ciel piled up all the envelopes, and handed them to Sebastian, "Today probably won't be the best day to deliver them, so hold off until tomorrow."

"I don't mean to be rude, but why am I getting the letters today if I don't give them out until tomorrow?" Sebastian asked.

"I actually wanted to talk to you, but I don't want the new girl to know about it. I wanted to ask you what you think of her. I also want to ask you if you really believe her story about traveling through dimensions. Assassins are getting smarter these days, and if she is one, then she must be very smart and has thought this out before just showing up."

Sebastian thought for a moment, "Well, to be honest with you, even I'm not very sure. When she was telling us about what happened to her, she seemed honest. If she was an assassin, she did a good job making futuristic technology and a whole book series about us.."

"Sebastian, keep an eye on her every move until you can concur that she's not out to destroy all of us." Ciel ordered.

Sebastian smiled and bowed, "Yes, my lord."
