A special necklace

~3rd Person POV - The servants~

All four servants (except Pluto) were crowded around the kitchen table. It was a bit different not having Rachel there.

Abby sighed, "I wish Rachel was here. I thought she was tougher than that."

Mey Rin nodded, "Yes she did. She seemed pretty capable of everything."

"She was a pretty thing. Such a shame she isn't here." Baldroy added.

"She was kind." Finny also added before slumping in his chair.

Pluto was whimpering outside the door wanting to come inside. It was raining and Pluto was getting all wet. Sebastian specifically ordered not to let him in.

~3rd Person POV - Ciel & Sebastian

Sebastian knocked on Ciel's study's door.

"Come in." Ciel said.

Sebastian came into the room before closing the door. He pulled out the box that he stole from Rachel.

Ciel became annoyed, "I told you to get the girl! What are you holding that is more important than the Rachel?!"

"Young master, if I may say you ordered me to get her as soon as possible. I was not able to get her this time, so we will get her next time."

Ciel frowned, "Why were you not able to get her? There was nobody stopping you."

"I wasn't able to get her, but I was able to talk to her briefly in her carriage. She's made an agreement with a demon. I'm not sure what it is about, but she is not able to come back for a while. I was able to take this box she was holding." Sebastian replied setting it on the desk.

"What's inside it?" Ciel asked.

Sebastian smirked, "You'll find out once you open it. I do not know myself."

Ciel opened the box and found the necklace with the information card. After reading the card, he understood a little bit about what the necklace.

"So apparently this neckless wards off evil spirits," Ciel said, "But you're a demon and it didn't affect you."

Sebastian chuckled slightly, "Correct. The neckless doesn't do anything."

"Maybe it represents that they are from that specific church." Ciel guessed.

Suddenly there was a knock on the door.

"Young master?" It was Tanaka.

"Come in."

Tanaka came into the room with a letter in his hand, "I have a letter from a person who came to the manor. They said it was urgent."

Tanaka handed the letter to Ciel. Ciel opened the letter after Tanaka had left the study. He froze. It was a letter from the Trancys.

Dear Ciel Earl Phantomhive,

While we haven't been talking I've still be searching for miss Rachel. After having my capable butler snoop around, we have come to determine that she is working secretly for another person. Last Sunday, I sent one of my servants to a church where supposedly she we be at. My servant saw her there. I've researched the church a little more only to find out that there's these special necklaces going around. There are about 20 in existence. My servant told me that Rachel received one of the necklaces. The necklaces supposedly ward off evil spirits. I cannot say if they do or not, but if you get a chance to be near the necklace, then be careful. There is a special service Wednesday that she probably will be attending. I cannot go because I have caught a cold at the moment. The Wednesday services are secret. Only people with the necklaces can enter the church on Wednesdays. Your butler will have to sneak in if you want to find out more. I wish you good luck, and please tell me any new information. I care about Rachel as much as you do.
