“Was that her? Miguel inquired pulling me aside after the bell had rung and Celestial all but vanished “Is that the girl?”
“No that’s just a friend of mine” I lie not entirely sure why I was even lying in the first place
“I didn’t know you were friends with hot babes Eth, be honest with me do you like that girl?”
“Shit I don’t know ‘Guel” I shook my head unable to phrase what I was feeling “It’s not me liking her” it was more than that, I didn’t have to be a rocket scientist to figure at least that out
“Could she be your mate?” He asked I looked him in his eyes seeming to find some solace in that question even if it was just that, a question. Clarissa obviously wasn’t my mate we all knew that eventually I would leave her for the Pack’s true Luna whoever she was.
“I don’t know”
“That’s what it looks like Eth, and when you start feeling the effects I wonder if you’ll still be with Rissa, will you be able to resist that girl?”
I shook my head again not a chance in hell “Ethan, what’s that girl’s name?”
“Celestial” even saying her name made me feel strange “Why?”
“I'm going to try my luck with her”
I growl “ Stay away from her Miguel” I toss him into a locker my eyes flickering darkly “ I'm not fucking kidding”
“Down boy” A sweet voice caressed my eardrum and I calm instantly
“I was right” Miguel muttered before shoving off the locker “ Clarissa is going to have a run for her money”
“Is Clarissa that dumb blonde?” Celestial asked as she stood in front of me as if protecting Miguel as if she knew she was doing just that “ The one who thinks I'm gonna steal her man”
“Well aren’t you?” Miguel asked she immediately snapped her eyes from mine to look him dead on
“Of course but that’s not really much of a question is it?” She smirked before letting her palm caress my cheek “Behave” and like that she was gone
“You were going to kill me because of that girl and how you look at her its like usted ha visto un angel” he laughed “ She seems pretty fond of you too, question is what are you going to do?”
“I have to see if you’re right, but first I have to get the title of Alpha from my father” because my father was Alpha there was no reason for my wolf to be awakened it would make for a lot of tiffs but that also made it difficult for me to know without a doubt who my mate was the only way for me to know was for me to claim what was my birth right
The only good thing that would come out of this is I have to fight my father because he sure as hell wasn’t going to give it to me willingly
And that suit me just fine
