Simone tossed the keys to her car to Colins. "Take me there and use the damn siren." Simone said.
Colins looked puzzled then it clicked. "Your a cop!" Colins shouted.
"Yes. I need you to get me to Annabelle before she does something stupid. I don't want her to go to jail over this." Simone said.
"I know and I don't want her to either. I tried telling her that Cat isn't worth it. You know she cares a lot about you." Colins said.
"I care a lot about her too and I need to tell her that." Simone said.
"Get in." Colins unlocked the door. "Put this on." Colins tossed Simone a handkerchief. "Don't worry it hasn't been used."
Simone picked it up and put it on so she was blindfolded by it. Colins flipped on the siren as she headed towards Annabelle's place. Cars got out of her way.
"This is quite fun." Colins said.
"When we get close shut the siren off so Annabelle doesn't hear it. I don't want her to think it's the cops that are going to arrest her. I want her to know it is me." Simone said.
"Will do. Promise me something?" Colins said.
"Sure what's that?" Simone asked.
"Don't break her heart." Colins said softly.
"I don't plan on it." Simone reassured Colins.
"Good because when she's like this it's hard to stop her. That's why I hope you can." Colins said.
"Trust me. I know a way that I can stop her." Simone said.
Colins whizzed past cars. She shut off the siren. "Her place is just up the road." Colins said.
"Thanks for doing this." Simone said.
"No problem. I just know it may be my job for bringing you up here but if it means that you can save Annabelle from doing something stupid then I'm all for that." Colins said.
"Why don't you just drop me off and take off? That way Annabelle doesn't have to know it was you." Simone said.
"I think I can arrange that." Colins said. "What about your car though?"
"Take it back to the club. I can get it from there." Simone said.
Soon the car came to a stop. "You can take the blindfold off." Colins said.
Simone took off the blindfold. The driveway was long and it was greeted with guards that stood behind a gate.
"Annabelle is expecting her." Colins lied. Knowing that the guards wouldn't question her.
One guard whispered to the other and soon enough the gate open. Simone looked back at Colins.
"Thanks for doing this." Simone said again.
"You're welcome." Colins said. "Now go save her."
Simone walked up the long driveway. The whole time her heart beating fast in her chest. Her palms were sweating and she was scared for the first time since Amanda. She was scared that she was going to lose Annabelle before she even gotten the chance to know her like she wanted. Once Simone reached the door she placed her hand on the knob and turned. The door swung inward and Simone was greeted by silence. Stepping inside Simone looked around for any sign of Annabelle. She closed her eyes.
"Please be here." She whispered as she made her way up the steps.
That's when she heard the clanking. She wasn't quite sure what the sound was from. She stopped and listened. More clanking and banging. It was like Annabelle was trying to look for something. Stopping at the top of the stairs Simone listened again. The sounds were coming from the last door on the right. Simone walked slowly to the door and put her hand on the knob. She turned it and pushed the door inward. Annabelle turned with a gun in her hand.
Instantly she lowered it when she saw that Simone was standing there.
"What are you doing here? How did you get here?" Annabelle questioned as she placed the gun on the desk.
"I'm here because I need you to stop from making a big mistake. Truth was Colins blindfolded me and brought me here. She thinks your going to fire her over it. So I told her to go so here I am." Simone smiled.
Annabelle frowned. "I need to make Cat pay for blowing up your car. I kept asking myself what if you were in it. That scared me. I couldn't think of losing you." Annabelle said.
"I wasn't in the car. I know you want Cat to pay but this isn't the way trust me." Simone said.
"How do you figure?" Annabelle asked.
"Because I'm a cop." Simone sighed. "My aunt Immaculata is my boss and she wants to bring you down for anything at all."
Annabelle smiled.
"Why are you smiling?" Simone questioned. She thought Annabelle would be pissed off at her.
"I already knew you were a cop. The moment you stepped foot on the property." Annabelle said. "I can't help the fact that I like you and I don't want anything to happen to you."
"I like you too Annabelle but please don't do this." Simone stepped closer to Annabelle. She was inches from her.
Annabelle reached out and grabbed Simone's hand. "I need to protect you." Annabelle sighed.
"You have protected me so far." Simone said.
"I don't feel like I have." Annabelle said.
"Trust me you have. When you found that letter Amanda wrote me you protected me then. You wouldn't let me go. Also if I wasn't talking to you I would've been in that car when it exploded." Simone said. Simone reached up and touched Annabelle's face.
Annabelle leaned into the touch of Simone's hand. She smiled. This all felt so right.
Simone leaned forward and place a kiss on Annabelle's lips. Soft but yet passionate. Simone soon found herself moaning as the kiss became deeper. It was heated. Annabelle pressed Simone against the wall pressing her hands above her head. She continue to kiss her passionately. Her tongue danced in Simone's mouth. Annabelle lead Simone down the hall to her bedroom. Annabelle continued to kiss Simone as they went. Once in the bedroom Annabelle pinned Simone against the wall again. This time kissing her lips, than her neck, than back up to her lips. Simone managed to push Annabelle away from her. She continued to nudge Annabelle towards the bed.
