The drive over to Annabelle's place was quiet. Simone didn't say much when she got into the car. Annabelle was staring out the window paying attention to the road.

"Did you want me to close my eyes so I don't know where you live?" Simone asked.

"No. I trust you." Annabelle said.

"Are you sure you trust me?" Simone asked.

"Yes I'm sure I trust you. Do you trust me?" Annabelle raised her eyebrows.

Simone swallowed. "I don't think your telling me the truth about something though. If your lying about it then what else could you be lying about." Simone blurted out.

"What am I lying about?" Annabelle asked.

Simone kept quiet. Once at the gates Annabelle looked over.

"Are you going to talk to me?" Annabelle asked.

The gates open and Annabelle drove in. Parking the truck in the garage Simone got out as Annabelle followed. Pinning Simone up against the truck.

"So are you going to talk to me? What am I lying to you about?" Annabelle asked.

"Cat?" Simone hissed.

"Cat, what about her?" Annabelle asked.

"Was she your girlfriend?" Simone asked.

"No. She was interested in me but I wasn't interested in her. That's why he had the fallen out and I bought the rest of the bar from her." Annabelle said. "Why who told you she was my girlfriend?"

"Immaculata." Simone sighed.

Annabelle placed two fingers on Simone's chin and lifted her head up.

"Look I would never lie to you." Annabelle said.

"Then why has your gun been used for four robberies?" Simone asked.

"I found out Cat was using it. She was trying to get the money together to buy me out. I found out she was doing the robberies and told her that either she gives me her share of the bar or else I would go to the cops." Annabelle said.

"Immaculata seems to think your doing it." Simone said.

"And you believed her?" Annabelle asked.

"No but I was scared. I don't really know much about you." Simone sighed.

"Ask me anything. I will tell you the truth no matter what it is." Annabelle said. "If you want to know what I did that had me sent away to an all girls school I will tell you."

"You would?" Simone asked.

"Yes because I don't want to keep any secrets from you. I care a lot about you." Annabelle said.

"You do?" Simone raised her eyebrows.

"Yes I haven't cared about someone as much as I care about you." Annabelle said.

Simone pulled Annabelle into a long slow kiss. Simone slowly pulled away.

"Let's go inside so we can talk." Annabelle said.

Simone followed Annabelle into the house. Sitting down on the couch Simone closed her eyes. Annabelle came back with a glass of wine.

"Here." Annabelle said as she handed the glass to Simone.

"Thanks." Simone said.

"So what do you want to know?" Annabelle asked.

"How did you come to own part of the club?" Simone asked.

"Rolanda was the woman who owned the bar. She gave part to me when she passed away and part to Cat." Annabelle said.

"Do you like working there?" Simone questioned.

"Yes I do. It pays the bills and I'm able to live here." Annabelle said.

"So why did you end up at an all girls school?" Simone raised her eyebrows.

"That's a different story. I was a bad kid I'm not going to lie. I ended up getting kicked out of my high school for smoking weed and being in fights." Annabelle said. "I am not for sure as to why I did weed or even got into fights. I would assume it would have to do with my mom not really being in the picture like a parent should. Since she was too busy running to be Senator."

"Is that how you meant Colins?" Simone asked.

"Yes Colins and I meant there. That's when she had her first porcupine Prissy." Annabelle laughed. "Prissy died before she graduated. Then Colins and I became the best of friends."

"That's really good. So you haven't done weed or any other drugs since?" Simone asked.

"I only stopped smoking weed about five months ago. I never did any other drugs." Annabelle said.

"How many girlfriends have you had?" Simone blurted out.

Annabelle smiled. "Honestly only three."

"Really?" Simone asked.

"Yes really. Can I ask you some questions?" Annabelle asked.

"Sure." Simone smiled.

"What made you want to be a cop?" Annabelle questioned.

"I decided I wanted to be a cop when a boy in high school beat the shit out of a girl and no one would stop it. So I stepped in. That was how I meant Amanda." Simone smiled.

"That's good. So you were like high school sweethearts?" Annabelle asked.

"Yes I guess we kind of were. Since graduation I worked my ass off to get into the police academy. Then Amanda moved in with me. Then after a year or so was when she took her life." Simone frowned.

"One more question. Do you want to be my girlfriend?" Annabelle smiled.

Simone smiled back. "Yes." Simone said softly.

Annabelle leaned in and kissed Simone passionately. Simone was taking Lara's advice and trying to be happy. Annabelle was what made her happy and she was going to go for it.
