"Shush, you'll bring them towards us!" The army man says.

"Y-you..." I say. Angered, I lunge at him. I scratch at his jacket, kick at his legs, and shout at him.

"I hate you!" I scream at him over and over.

He backs up and points his gun at me. I stop and realize what I'm doing. I don't know what has come over me. I've never done this to anyone. I mean, I have a right to be angry. He killed my sister!

I fall to my knees on the concrete. I cup my face in my hands and start to cry.

"Wake up. Wake up, Claire." I whisper to myself. I don't know what any other explanation could be, other than that this is a dream. A very bad dream. I'm going to wake up, and mommy and daddy and Blaire will be in the living room, waiting for me. I just wish I knew a better way to wake up than talking to myself.

I slowly lift my head up.

No, this is not a dream. I will not wake up, and Blaire, mommy and daddy don't exist anymore. And I'm being a crybaby.

My hands fall to my lap, but I still look at the ground.

This man in front of me can help. He had the other man shoot Blaire because she was in pain. That's not so bad. Maybe that's what he was instructed to do. I know that deep down, he feels bad about it. But he's only doing because he had to.

I lift my head all the way up, and look at him. His gun is back at his side, and his arms are crossed.

"I'm sorry," I say, looking away from him.

"My name is Henry. If you come with me then I can help you. We can take care of you." I look back at him and nod. I stand up to my feet and follow Henry out of my yard.

What do think of Claire's decision? Should she have followed him? Can she really trust him? Who knows what he is capable of...
