I pick up my diary and pen from my white wooden desk and open to the nearest blank page.
Dear diary,
I'm not gonna lie, today was a pretty messed up day. During lunch, everyone started getting amber alerts on their phones. And they were all in our area. A whole bunch of people were being picked up early because of some dumb rumor going around. My parents are smart enough not to believe that rumor, though.
After school, somebody sent a link to a video out to everyone. The video was of a police officer shooting at some homeless person. After they shot the guy multiple times, he just kept getting up. It was kind of freaky, if you ask me. My sister showed me another video after school too. It was of a man on a stretcher and a paramedic leaning over him. The guy in the stretcher, who was supposedly dead, woke up and bit the paramedics neck.
Mom says these videos are staged, but I don't know who would stage something like that. I think that maybe we're being invaded by vampires or something.
Just kidding.
Well, that's it for today. Not much gossip, seeing as nobody was at school. Hopefully I'll find out what was happening tomorrow.
1-24-12, Claire.

Okay, so we don't know when the apocalypse started or when those videos were released, so I used some hints I found at this website: http://www.cinemablend.com/m/television/Fear-Walking-Dead-Just-Told-Us-Zombie-Outbreak-Started-81067.html
What do you think? Should I make this story? Do you need to read more? Should I work on this or Anomalistic?
You tell me, because I honestly don't know what you guys would like more.
Also, I was thinking maybe I could do this story in the form of diary entries, 1st person or 3rd person pov, or maybe both?
Ttfn, vote if you like this story!
