Chapter 15 - Insight

Present

Percy's POV

I sit on my bed after a long day. Looking around my room I sigh and release the mist hiding my stranger features.

Black cat ears and a matching tail appear. I watch as the latter swishes back and forth through the air.

Backwards, forwards, up, down, and repeat.

"Percy? Percy!" A voice shouts.

My head snaps up to see Perci standing in front of me.

"Yes?" I ask.

"You've been staring at your tail for ten minutes, Percy." She frowns.

I nod and turn my head to look around my room again.

Colors. There aren't many in here.

Black, grey, bits of white. There are a few colors though.

Red, green, blue, purp-

"Percy!"

"What?"

"Nevermind Perce." She leaves me alone.

Alone. Alone again. Alone with my thoughts.

I don't like being insane! I just wish that- purple.

3rd POV

Percy is swept up into his random insane thoughts once again. Perci watches sadly from the doorway, silently wishing she could help.

She sighs and goes to call the others, maybe they can help Percy.

An hour later, there is a knock on the door.

"Hey guys. You have the stuff?" Perci asks the guests.

"All of the usuals, yeah." Says a sad Noe.

Perci, Noe, Jennifer, and Alencia walk down the hallway to Percy's room.

"We have guests Percy."

He turns and smiles at his friends.

"Hey guys! What's up?" He questions.

They enter the room and place the bags on the floor.

"Nothing much. What about you Percy-cat?" Noe asks.

Percy gains a dazed look on his face.

"Purple, and up, and down." He says absently.

Tears well up in Alencia and Jennifer's eyes. Seeing Percy completely out of it hurts them.

"Cool. I guess it's time for our Anime Marathon then?" Asks Noe.

Percy jumps up excitedly.

"Which anime are we watching today?" He questions.

Alencia reaches into one of the bags and pulls out a DVD case.

"Tokyo Ghoul." She barely has time to finish, before she has a lap full of Percy-cat.

"Oh my Chaos! I love that one, thank you!" He squeals.

Alencia laughs and hugs Percy.

"Can we just start the show now?" Jennifer asks amused.

Percy quickly gets up and has the room Anime Marathon ready in two seconds.

"Let's start!" He shouts.

Needless to say, everyone ends up in tears by the end of the night.

Across the city, two people explain how to save Percy and their world.
