Love sick

"Mirai! You look so Cute (a/n: I had Kawaii there before but I couldn't handle the cringe) today!" "Thank you" she smiles innocently. It's this girls first year in this school, so she's kind of new but she entered at the beginning of the year. "Oh my god!!! Is that Kei-Sama!?! Wow!" The girls run over as crowd the entrance, mirai just stood back and smiled, "what!? Kei-Sama!?" Girls break away from their boyfriends. Later in class "here you go Kei-kun, you got number three wrong, would you like me to explain that to you?" "Number three!? Really!? Ah, how do you do that?" He asks and mirai bends over to show him... Bends over 😏... Perv... He was intending it, he's also paired with her for cooking class, because the teacher found out that she's the only one that doesn't go crazy about him, boys try to stab him most of the time for stealing their girlfriends and girls are too clingy and they get nothing done, "can you pass me the salt?" "Sure here" (the only thing he does) after class: "Kei-kun, don't forget to stop by the library, I still have to explain the science formula, ok?" "K, I won't forget" he waves and leaves. After school: "so here you have to do this, and then that goes here..." She shows him "got it?" "Yeah, I got it...." There's silence "oi, mirai...." "Hai?" "Do you like me?" "Like you?..." She looks up at him and there's another moment of silence "yes, I like you..." She says and his expression looks shocked like 😧 and then she's like "your a very nice person to be around, I enjoy teaching" then he breaks down like 'I failed', then later her friend joins in the club of tutoring "why are you here?" "Because mirai has graciously offered me to have a presence at this meeting" she sparkles and says it dramatically "you in drama club or somethin'?" "N-n-n-no" then mirai leaves to get some drinks "hey, does mirai like anyone?" "Like anyone?..." The girl looks up at him spinning her pencil between her fingers "oh, I get it! You like mirai! Hahaha!" She laughs slapping him on the back "mirai? Liking someone? Unlikely, she doesn't understand the concept of 'like', she's never shown any affection to any guys for as long as I've known her" she frowns "sorry guys, I'm back". He starts to eye her a lot and realizes what her friend said was true, he likes her, and during gym he was looking at her in class and she caught him and waved he waves then she loos back frantically as a million girls run to the window, a sweat drops from her head. Then one day it's pouring outside and she's like "Awww, and I didn't bring an umbrella" "me either" they stand there "hey! Wanna run to a nearby cafe till it ends!" She asks "eeeh? Are you asking me out on a date?" He asks cheekily "you can consider it that, let's go!" She runs out into the rain and they run to the cafe and order coffee together "this is nice" she puts her head on the table and doses off "hey.." She suddenly lifts her head and he kind of freaks out cuz he was admiring her sleeping face "can I talk to you about something? I usually go to momo but that's not possible right now and it would be nice if I can talk to someone about it" "sure, do ahead" "I think my parents are getting divorced..." "Huh?" "It's really hard on me cuz we've always been really close but then they started fighting and last night I heard them talking about who I should stay with" she takes a deep breath "I really don't want to move anywhere and right now I'm thinking that if they really do get divorced, I'll just rent out an apartment around here, I like this school, it has my friends in it, I'm not too good at making friends because I'm so clueless and end up with the wrong ones who beat me down, I really don't want anything to change, even though I want to move, I really don't like being alone, it's really stressing me out, what do you think I should do?" "The apartment isn't a bad idea, you don't really have to be worried about being alone, you have momo, and me, we'll keep you company" she smiles "wow! Thanks, that really brings me at ease" she lets out a breath of relief "your welcome, glad I can help" he smiles back at her "the rain stopped" she says after a moment of silence, after a really long time, no, not that long, the day after that, her heart starts racing around him "momo, I need help" "sure, what's up?" "Is there a sickness for being around someone and your heart starts to kill you?" "Hm?..." Momo the realizes what's going on "yeah, there is" "what!? Her face goes pale "we have to go see a doctor!" "Wait a minute honey..." Momo grabs her "doctors can't solve this sickness" "they can't!?!" She goes even more paler "Nope, only one person can, the person that makes you heart race, want more info?" She nods her head "mirai, the day has come, you've grown up, and... You love that person!" "What-" 😐 "yeah, trust your heart from now on, confess to that person or something" "ok! Got it!" She runs out the door "I should have asked who it was" instant regrets momo has "Kei-kun! She runs up to him "mm?" "I! I. I, I... I... I... Why can't I say it?" She turns around with a red face "are you ok?" "Yes... I mean no... I mean maybe, I don't know, momo told me it is a sickness but then she didn't make herself clear" "I see, tell me when you can, just don't die before telling me" "o-ok" then they go to the New Years festival together cuz momo bailed... On purpose, she's actually in the bushes. "Sorry I'm late!" "No it's fine, lets go walk around" he dives right in and they have a lot of fun, and they pray and her prayer? 'Please don't let me get lonely, and please cure my sickness' (same thing isn't it?) then they get a good view of the fireworks "wow, so pretty... Hey, Kei-kun?" "Mm?" "I think I like you" "huh!?!" "Momo said that I have my sickness because I like you!" "Your sickness!?" "Yeah, my chest feels really weird around you!" "Hm? That's not a sickness!" He laughs "that's just because you like me" he says as leans closer to her their faces nearly touching (so close!!!!!) "Really? So I'm not sick?" "Nah, your sick, love sick, a good kind of sick" "that's good, then I'll leave myself in your care from now on to cure my sickness" "alright then, let's begin" he says and kisses her❤️
