Once every century a maiden comes from the river to test the humans of the land, and if they fail to please her, she destroys the land with her currents, if they please her she brings prosperity and luck with their crops. The day had come and she came from the river and met a traveler, he was resting by a tree never the river, when he opens his eyes, she's there and he spends time with her, she takes a liking in him and he's heard of the legend and he figures that she's the maiden, the time comes for her to return and she is on the good side but as she comes to the river, she sees blood running into the river and she doesn't go back and enters the village, there are many nice people but at midnight she sees three murders and she was about to be a victim but the traveler saves her and so the story continues with her judgment on the world and her journey with the traveler, he's a knight escaping from his king.
