Dazing off into nightmares

After escaping the war in her country she always seemed to be dazed so she was considered mental so she had to go to a school with mentally challenged people, her school gets bombed and she has to go to a normal school for a year. I walk down the hall and a baseball flys by flying through the window and after it comes a boy, I tilt my head in confusion "that was an awesome catch! Can I have the ball please, sorry if it hurt you" "no, it's all right, it didn't hurt me, please don't break windows with these balls though" I giggle handing him the ball, he jumps back out the window after thanking me, I wave bye with a smile "who is that girl?" I hear him ask his friends "shes new, she came from the mental school that got bombed" "really? she seems normal to me" "dude, you should see her in class, she's dazed off, like out" that's right, I'm still in a shock from what I saw, I can't get the image out of my head. "See? Like now" I snap back and I continue walking. The next day I decide to eat lunch on a bench near the baseball field, looks like they practice now too. The image flashes back in my head, It horrifies me to know that, children can be taken from their parents, and we can't do anything about it. "Yui?" I snap back "yes?" The guy yesterday "oh, hey, that's really your name, I thought they see playing with me, were you thinking about something?" "Oh, it's... Troublesome" I turn away "I see, if you ever want to talk about it, I here to listen" he gives me a confident grin. "Then... Can you possibly tell me, what if, you saw something, you weren't supposed to, something terrifying, and it scarred you, you want to help but you can't do anything about it, how would you react?" "Hm? I don't know, I guess I would feel troubled and depressed" "i see, me too, that is exactly how I felt" "is that why you daze off so much?" "...yeah..." She smiles "I see". They later start dating after the whole school know what she's lived through, she stops dazing off so often, then they start dating.
