I heaved a sigh as I stared at Fushimi's framed eyes. He was lax as he gave me a pitiful excuse of an apologetic look. "I'm sorry, Misaki. I forgot your notes at home." We stood inside the school building near our lockers, this was middle school. "I'll bring it tomorrow."
Annoyed, I shouldered my bag and bit the inside of my cheek contemplating. I need those notes for the upcoming test, and this moron seemed to always forget them. "No." I said following him out of the building. The sun was setting ahead of us coloring the sky with pink and orange hues. "I'm coming with you." I insisted.
"If you want." He replied without so much as disputing and lead us towards the school gates. It was rather irritating when we didn't get too far out from the entrance as Fushimi stopped and smiled at someone at the gate. "Waiting for me, Misaki?"
A bit confused I remember myself ready to answer to him when another anger filled voice beat me to it. "I told you not to call me Misaki, monkey!" I closed in on Fushimi and looked around him to see non other than Yata Misaki. At the sight of me he fumbled with his words as his friend smirked rather amused, "Yo." he finally stuttered out in a greeting.
"Yo," I replied, "Are you wlaking with this guy too?" This time around he didn't give a reply but a stiff nod before we all started walking to Fushimi's house. It was a rather quiet walk, no one made a noise, but it felt comforting then.
