You walk along the gritty footpath after a horrible crisis at work. You had been bouncing back and forth to keep everything organised, every tiny little thing had to be in place. Working as a waitress was a shit-ton of work. Today, the customers were completely off the charts. Spoiled-ass children screaming, intoxicated teenagers knocking everything over, rude women who kept bitching about how over-cooked their fucking chicken wings were and fuckboys that kept flirting with you. Honestly, you wanted to quit right at that moment, but you knew that if you were to do so, things would get a lot more difficult.
You sighed, clenching tighter onto your (F/C) jacket as a gust of wind found its way down your spine. You shivered and watched your feet as you took each step. The street was eerie and silent, all except for the howling wind and the leaves cracking in it. You were lost in your train of deep thought as you strolled along the footpath towards your house, and your eyes and ears were focused on sleet that crunched beneath your shoes.
Unaware of your surroundings, you clumsily walked into a ridged pole... except it wasn't a ridged pole. That pole was carrying files and papers and that pole wore a black, leather jacket. Their papers scattered along the ground, the ice underneath them melting and slowly soaking through. "Sorry!" You looked up at them, lifting your hands in front of the figure. You looked at the pages and quickly knelt down on the ground to pick them up. The figure joined you and muttered something under their breath.
"I am so sorry!" You said as you tried to wipe the sheets from the melted snow with your palms, thankfully not smudging any of the ink written on.
"nah, it's fine. i should be the one apologizing, i didn't see you walking." As the person spoke, you took notice that the voice was deep, so it was easy to tell that the voice belonged to a guy.
"No, no, I... I just had a lot of things on my mind and I didn't see you at all... and I just... yeah." You stuttered.
He gathered all of his work into his arms and you placed the pile that you picked up, into his. You stood up and wiped your knees from the wet snow before he stood up after you. You realised that he was a monster and jumped a little at his appearance.
It wasn't normal to see a monster since they've got a much smaller population to humans. You've rarely spoken to any, but you have a few friends that are. He looked quite creepy at first glance, and the darkness of your surroundings made it feel even creepier.
"am i that scary to you?" He asked, snapping you out of your thoughts. "U-uh! No, I just don't..." You hesitated to say it, afraid of offending him in any way. "so, you're checking me out?" He grins as he lifts a brow.
"What?" You felt your cheeks heat up as you took a step back. "i'm just kidding." He chuckled.
'Holy shit, that's a cute laugh.'
"Wow." You said sarcastically as you facepalmed. "Gaster!Sans. Call me Gas for short." He holds out a hand as he holds his papers into the other. You remove your hand from your face and stare at his hand for a couple seconds before shaking it. It felt weird. "My name's (y/n)." You grin. Once you became adjusted to him, it was much easier to take a proper look at him.
For a monster, he was actually, undoubtedly, extremely attractive. You weren't 100% sure how, but he was. He looked to be some kind of skeleton, so it was interesting to see one like him for the first time. He didn't wear anything under his black, leather jacket, and he wore grey trousers which, at the ankles, were tucked into his black combat boots. He looked very rebellious, but from what you know so far, he can't do any harm.
Gaster!Sans' hand started to click in front of your face. You blinked a couple of times before you came back into the real world. "Huh?" You looked up at him. "you're daydreaming again," He placed his hands on his hips, "i told you, you were checking me out." He said as he pulled a satisfied grin. "I was n-"
"see ya." He smirked as he began to walk away. You held onto your jacket and sighed, "Bye." He walked off into the opposite direction you were walking and when you turned to look at him, he had disappeared.
You were still standing in the spot where you talked to him, and you noticed something on the ground. He left his wallet. You picked it up, looking around the street for him one more time, just in case he was still here. Inside was his number, ID and other personal info. You didn't want to look at his money since you felt like you were already invading too much of his privacy. You came up with an idea and pulled your phone out of your jacket's pocket. You called the number from inside the wallet.
It rang for a while.
"hello?" Gas answered.
"Hey, um, it's me again." You said awkwardly.
"how'd you get my number?" He asked in suspicion.
"You left your wallet here. I think you dropped it when you were picking up the paper." You answered.
He began to chuckle.
"i bet you stole it so you could see me again."
You scoffed, "I would never!"
"sure..." He said sarcastically, failing from keeping his giggles hidden.
"I'm serious." You stated in a stern tone.
"i thought you said were (y/n), not 'serious'." He snorted.
"Just hurry up and get your wallet."
"feisty."
"Stop that!"
"haha! okay, i'm coming."
"Okay, bye."
"see ya, sweet cheeks."
"Wha-"
He hung up. This fucking kid. You sighed and kicked around the thin layer of snow as you waited for him to arrive. He somehow randomly appeared in front of you out of nowhere, making you jolt up and look towards him in shock. "Jesus Christ!" You frowned at him as you placed your hand on your chest, feeling your heart thump. "i know i'm god-like, but i'm not jesus." He chuckled with his grin widening. You snickered a bit and handed him the wallet. "I must admit, you're pretty funny." You grinned. He stuffed the wallet into his back pocket, smiling. His cheeks were slightly... yellow? 'What's that supposed to mean?'
"Your face is yellow." You pointed out, only making his face glow brighter. "don't worry about that." He looked to the side waving you off. "I should go now. So, have a good day." You smiled as you turned around. "leaving so soon?" He asked.
"I really have to get home." You said.
He sighed, "alright."
You turned back around and walked off, "Bye."
"see ya." He called as he watched you walk away.
You turned around and began to walk backwards, "Bye!" You waved. You faced forward again and smiled to yourself.
