{YOUR POV}
It's a Thursday, and you have work. You work as a waitress at a restaurant and today wasn't too packed. You could handle it and your shift didn't go for too long. Only 5 hours. In the middle of your shift, you serve a small group of people.
"What can I get you?" You ask looking at your small notebook, ready to take notes. Suddenly, you hear a familiar voice.
"i'll have you, sweet tums." You look up to see Sans with people you've never seen before. You facepalm, "What are you doing here?" You ask. He completely ignores your question. "i want you to meet undyne and alphys." He answers. You look at his friends. "Since when do you have friends?" You tease, giving him a playful smirk. "shut up." He says in a dull tone. You only snicker, then face back towards his friends. The fish girl stands up and pulls a huge toothy grin.
"I'm Undyne! Sans told us some pretty cool things about you, so i'm looking forward to getting to know you, punk!"
You smirk and look over to Sans, "That's cool, what did exactly did he say about me?" You ask, innocently. Sans frowns and gives Undyne a don't-you-fucking-tell-her look. She looks at him as a huge wave of confidence washes over her. "He told us that you were cool and funny and he said that you were hot and-"
He sinks into his seat and kicks her leg from under the table. "OW! What the fu- hell!?" She sits back down, crossing her arms.
He gives her an angry look as his face begins to flush a bright yellow. You giggle. "So you think I'm hot, eh?" You smirk at him placing a hand on the table in front of him. Undyne softly cackles as he sinks further into his seat. Then Alphys speaks up, breaking the tension,
"I-I'm Undyne's girlfriend, A-Alphys." She blushes, smiling nervously. God, she was adorable. "Oh, nice to meet you." You smiled, holding an arm out to shake it. Undyne looked at your hand, then glared at you, as if you were about to invade her territory. Alphys laughed nervously and quickly changed the subject. "Well, u-um... do you like anime?" She asks, excitedly. "Yes." You nod with a grin. "T-That's great! M-Maybe one day we can watch a-anime altogether!" She smiled, twiddling her thumbs. You smiled, "That sounds cool." Alphys seemed to become quite ecstatic after hearing the word 'cool', come from a cool person. A cool person, calling something that she, HERSELF suggested, COOL!!
You took their orders and walk off, continuing your job. You come back with their food after a while and set it on the table. "Here you go." You smile.
They thank you, but Gaster!Sans simply complains about how you missed one of the things he ordered, which was you. You rolled your eyes and got back to doing your job.
Suddenly, you heard a workmate, Matt, also known as 'glasses boy', call from behind you. The nickname appropriately given because of an incident involving his glasses and the many, many destroyed replacements of them. He was most likely wearing his 6th pair by this point. "(Y/N), you're on break." He pointed towards the break room with his thumb. Already? Had time flown that quick today?
"Thanks, Glasses Boy." You breathed. He sighed in annoyance after hearing that nickname for the thousandth time. You head towards the back exit, grabbing a quick snack from the vending machine next to the door. You walked out of the door and leaned against the wall, immediately pulling out your source of life.
You pull your phone out of your back pocket and opened your text messages. They were all from Grillby, and were mostly sweet messages, asking how you've been. You giggled to yourself as you replied to them, asking him the same question in return.
"who are you texting?" Said voice from a couple of meters away, making you jump.
You look over your shoulder to see Sans, leaning against the wall next to you. Your first instinct is to make a pun, knowing that he enjoyed them.
