The foul smell from the underground sewer caused the white haired devil hunter to cringe. The sounds of his heels click clacked along the corridor as he continues his search. Just then, he heard a shrieking sound above him. Quickly tilting his head up, he rolled down to his side and grip his sword that was resting in his hand. In a speed of lightning, his sword cuts down the demon into pieces, leaving no bloods and bones scattering on the dirty, wet ground. Along his journey, his swords never once rested in peace as he keeps on unsheathing them, ridding the monstrous activity. One by one, they’d appear on his tail, following him like a bee attracted to its honeycomb.
Enjoying every slithering and killing, his smirk didn’t falter although he did found it a little bit annoying. Vergil, the son of the Legendary Dark Knight Sparda. Who wouldn’t want to have his blood? The Legendary Dark Knight himself was considered to be stronger than the King of Hell. The demons even believed that those who managed to get the blood of Sparda in their hands shall stand on top of the demon world. Scoffing at the thought, he chuckled. He is a man with pride; born of a human and a demon blood. There’s no way he would ever let his reputation be destroyed. He even believed that he can surpass his own father.

You stirred upon hearing the sound of droplets of water around you. You didn’t open your eyes yet as your eyelids felt like they were glued. Shifting your head to the side, you knew that you were lying down, facing the cold ground. Groaning in discomfort, you slowly tried to open your eyes again. You shifted your body as your eyes finally managed to gain visions. Curving your arms to push yourself away from the ground, you felt the effect of the ‘drug’ from the bottle of water still flowing through your systems. Your wobbly legs couldn’t support your weight, causing you to sit back with your hands supporting your body by the sides. A golden lantern with a tiny flickering flame lighted the underground area. Slowly, you summoned the strength to stand on your feet and scanned through the area.
Shaking the dirt of your hands and the dusts off your clothing, you look around curiously as you grabbed the lantern that was resting along the corridor. Luckily, you were not wearing a dress but your lucky pants and clothes with boots covering your feet. Your bag and your files however, were missing. Great, luck decided to leave your side. You hated it if you have to return back to work only to find yourself yelled by your hot tempered boss.
Narrowing your eyes, your minds darted back to the time when ‘Jerry’ gave you a bottle of water. That filthy, annoying scum acted well. What happened to the responsibility of giving your customer a better service? You ended up unconscious and what’s worse; you’re in an underground sewer. Your steady steps continued to march forward along the dark tunnel. Feeling a slight dizziness, you rub your head and halted your feet. Oh that idiot better not mess around with your head. You knew standing around won’t lead you anywhere, so you decided to continue moving at a regular pace.

Your footsteps echoed on the planks of woods as you walk even deeper into the mysterious tunnel. You’ve taken a few turns as if you were walking down a maze. Within that time of searching for an exit, you found yourself walking into the unknown and finally stumbling upon a path which was planked. You lifted the lantern for the umpteenth time only for you to find the same results; dirt, planked tunnel, ceilings, walls, dirt, planked tunnel, ceilings and so on. You heaved out a sigh and turned into another corner only to find a dead end. Feeling too tired and exhausted, you leaned against the wall and slid yourself down only to shut your eyes so you can gain your energy back.
HOWEVER, your eyes jolted open and your body jumped up as soon as you heard a loud bang echoing through the path you’re taking. A low growl whispered its way as you stood behind a -broken- wooden rack. Poking your head to the side, your breathing becomes heavier as your eyes widen at the sight of what you saw. There stood a huge crocodile-like-monster with its saliva dripping from its sharp teeth. It’s warm and smelly breath gives out a steam as its eyes resembles the pupil of a wild beast. Its dark shade of green scale was rising up and down due to the heavy breathing it was pulling. Your hands instantly found its way to the front of your mouth, immediately preventing you from yelping in shocks. The low growl ascended as it finally notices the smell of a mortal being, a different creature than its own. Its body raised, ready to engage into a deadly hunt. You knew what was happening. Gathering courage, all adrenalines rushing through your systems finally took control, causing your feet to sprint away from the -weirdly- raged and hungry creature.
