(Third Person POV... sort of)

Isaac decided, once Stiles had finished teaching him how to dance, that he was going to ask Malia to the dance. And if everything went good afterwords, he would ask her to be his girlfriend. He just hoped everything went well.

He spent the whole school day thinking of ways he could ask Malia. But he came up blank every time. So he decided on the traditional route with things. He would just bluntly ask her to the dance. Plain and simple. Malia, would you like to go to the dance with me? He just hoped he didn't screw it up.

Isaac sat down next to Malia in math, slipping her a note telling her to meet him at his locker after school. She looked up and caught his eye, then she nodded. He smiled and tried to pay attention to that day's lesson but his mind was failing to stay focused. He was nervous about asking Malia, but at the same time, he was partially confident that she would agree.

The end of the day couldn't come quick enough. When Isaac got out of class, Malia was already waiting at his locker for him. He walked up and she politely moved aside so he could take care of his things.

"What's up?" She asked after a long stretch of silence. Isaac jumped, forgetting she was there for a moment,  before turning to her and smiling hesitantly.

"Wouldyouliketogotothedancewithme?" He rushed out. She looked confused.

"What?" She laughed. He took a deep breath.

"Would you like to go to the dance with me?" He asked again. Malia's eye's widened before she grinned brightly. Her eye's sparkling with joy.

"I'd love to." She said. She kissed his cheek before running off after Stiles so she didn't miss her ride home. Isaac grinned to himself, now all he had to do was not screw anything up... and ask her out... great. One down, two to go.
