The girl wept as her dead lover laid on the floor covered in rich blood. His usual happy filled blue eyes now held no emotion. His body that was once warm was ice cold. The girl fell onto her knees, her head in her ghostly pale hands as she continued to cry.

The horrible crimson color covered her black flowy dress. Realizing what happened she took her head out of her hands, looking at her lover, she put her hand upon his cheek. She smiled sadly before leaning down to kiss his cold lips. Taking her hand off of his cheek, she picked herself up and walked away to their room.

Grabbing his favorite flowers, violets, from the vase on the table beside their bed she then walked back to the sad scene, passing it and walking outside. She quietly walked to her garden, picking as many violets she could carry. Walking back inside to the room where her dead lover laid, the girl gently put the flowers down near him. Getting on her knees, one by one she started to put the violets around his body.

Blood got on some of the flowers, but she didn't mind. Once she was done with the violets she went back out to the garden and picked a single red rose, her favorite. When she got back into the room she then grabbed her lover's dead hands and put the rose in-between, closing his hands, making him hold the rose.

The girl closed his eyes and said "Goodbye my darling."

She kissed him one more time before getting up and walking out of her castle. She never looked back, only forward. Walking into the forest, she was never seen again, but people have heard loud sobs and screaming coming from inside. But when police search the forest they found no body or any human remains.
