The Secret Prince.

Theo's point of view.

"Its just a quick joint, she wont even know about it. Calm down and try it"

I've known Jack just as long as I've known myself - seriously. He's that friend you never remember meeting but is always their. He's an amazing friend in all kinds of ways. For example the time he helped me sneek back into my room after I went on a secret weekend away. My family assumed I was on a very important life mission. I was actually just having fun in Mexico.

Our families say that we're made for one another. He is the "stable" one, knows his future and stuff. I'm the "irrasponsible" one who kinda pushes Jack into bad things. Lets be honest though he needs to live a little. It got to the point were he spent so much time looking after me he got his very own title 'Professional Advotcate' - crazy.

"I cant, if she finds or smells it she    will kill us"

I hate it when people are always right.

"FINE! But she only knows the smell because shes done it herself. Hipacrite"

"Why dont we go somewhere tomorrow? The gym" I suggest.

"Yeah, the gym the one place you know I hate. I get my gym gear on, I get syced up, I get their, do a few lift, turn around and your gone"

I can feel my face turning red a little. Every time we go to the gym I always end up with the instructor. It isn't my fault she seduces me - Kinda.

"Here spray me" Spraying our bodies with deodorant I place the joint into my jacket.

"Lets go she will have a fit if were late" Jack snaps. Laughing at Jack we get into line straightening our suits. Jack stands behind me but not too far away. We've stood this way for years, sometimes I forget we're different. These are the times I rely the most on Jack.

"Why are you always watching over me?" I ask. "Its my job and I get paid for it" He jokes. Trying not to laugh at his lame comment I gently nudge backwards.

"No, its more than that, your like my brother" he reminds me. "Thats why I love you man"

"Shut up getting soft on me" he laughes out. "It's almost time" he whispers on my ear. His voice filled with excitment.

The room we stand in is quite and I cannot help but examine it as I do every time this happens. The room is huge almost like a grand hall everything in sight is either red or gold. Lights dim as the time grows closer and the golden walls become dull and dark. Pillows have been neatly fluffed and nothing is out of place I bet the maids came in before me and Jack to sort everything out.

My smile back on my face I can start to get into my game face. Walking towards the large golden doors Jack follows. His slump body turns broad behind mine, patting my shoulder gently I take a deep breath in. Two men who have always lived here but yet I don't know walk towards the large doors. Placing their hand gently on the shinny handle we wait. My nerves building in my body and butterflies dancing in my stomach. They gently nod their heads and I know its time. Putting my arms to the side I straighten my body, propping my head forward I compose my facial expressions. The doors slowly open and the butterflies stop dancing, my hands turn dry.

Watching the people within the other room turn to face me I walk a little forward. Their eyes first catch me, then their bodies turn and then their mouths open. Like sheep on a field they follow each others reactions. One of the men who opened the door comes to my side. His body as stiff as mine however his 18th century clothing blinding my eyesight. The dull gold from the other room was all over the outfit and its strange that over the years I'm still not used to this. He looked focused not showing he was frightened of the 600 people staring at only us. Slowly stamping a large metallic stick he held he gently cleared his throat. Every eye was now on us and there wasn't a sore eye to be seen.
