Five more minutes, just 5 more minutes! "Kallie, are you paying attention?" Mr. Summers asked me. "Huh, oh sorry" i said. You can't blame me for freaking out. Friday is so close!! Every friday me and my four closest friends get together at starbucks and just hang out. This week has been really stressful so i need these five minutes to go by super fast!!! RINGGGGG!!! yes! I gathered all my books and headed to my locker. While i was putting my books up my friend Caroline came up to me. "You ready to go?" "Is that a real question?" i responded. We headed to my car so that we could go to my house.
"so how are you and jason?" i asked caroline. I looked over and saw caroline blushing. Caroline and jason are two of the people in my close circle of friends. They have liked each other since they were in 6th grade. that's when we all became friends. now that we are in 10th almost 11th grade, i think its time that they tell each other how they feel. "well i mean we're fine.... i guess" she blushed. " i say by the end of the school year you tell him how you feel." i said. "i guess i can think about it." caroline agreed.
when we pulled up into my driveway i saw my my mom and dads car. "that's weird, they're never home this early." i said. "well maybe they have something to tell you." caroline said. She had no idea how right she was. when i walked into the house my parents were in the kitchen. "hey mom, hey dad." i said. "Hi mrs and mr wilson" caroline said. "hey girls" my dad said. "why are you home so early?" i asked getting right to the point. "well kall, your dad has some good news." my mom smirked. "ok, what is it?" "well i got a promotion an-" "well thats great news, congrats dad." i cut him off. "well honey, you didnt let me finish. i got a promotion, but i have to go to France."
