The Matthew's chapter 10

Kallie's POV

when i entered the dining room all eyes turned to me. i blushed and looked down. "oh everyone stop staring at kallie. you're going to have to get used to having her around now" claire said. a few of the boys groaned, but i tried to ignore it.

i looked at the table trying to find an open seat, and there just happened to be one empty seat in between jacob and brad. just my luck. i walked around and took my seat. "glad we could make room for you right next to me." jacob whispered in my ear and placed his hand on my thigh. i cant deny that i felt a spark when his hand was on me, but i pushed it off as soon as he put it there. "hey jacob, why don't you watch where your hands go, she's still fair game." brad said smirking at me. "hey now! stop that. SHE has a name, and you need to start calling her by it. kallie is not a prize, she is a beautiful young girl who deserves respect." claire said. "thank you." i said.

"well now that kallie is here, we can eat." anderson said. they started passing around the bowls. we had steak, mashed potatoes and broccoli. we made small talk while we ate, it was akward but i got through it.

i started walking up the stairs but i got lost. i thought i saw the same door for the 5th time, so i just sat down against a wall hoping someone would find me.

i sat there for what felt like an hour before i heard tiny little footsteps "kallie? kallie can you here me?" "im right here layla. follow my voice." at this point it was really dark and hard to see. then i heard a click and the hallway lit up. once my eyes adjusted to the light i saw layla come up to me. "oh there you are kallie. i went into your room to see if you wanted to play a game but i couldnt find you. none of my brothers wanted to help me, so i had to come find you myself."

i got on my knees and gave her the biggest hug i could. "i couldnt thank you enough layla. i was so worried i would be lost. where am i exactly?" i asked. "this is where the gym and art studio is. so not many people come down here, but i promise i will make you a map first thing tomorrow. i don't want you to get lost anymore." she smiled. "ok. i would love that." i stood up, and she grabbed my hand "come on. its time for me to go to bed, and mommy said that tomorrow she would take us all out to the water park !" oh. i didnt know that. layla took me to my room and said goodnight.

i was wearing a sports bra and spandex in my room while singing to some music playing on my phone when i heard whistling coming from my door. i turned to see jacob leaning on my door smirking at me. "wow. why is it that i'm just now meeting you sweet cheeks? i needed you in my life a long time ago." i roll my eyes and try not to blush at his ridiculous pick-up line that would probably never work. "is there a reason you just walked in my room?" i asked crossing my arms over my chest. "i hoped i would see you like this. i think i need to visit you unexpectedly more often." my mouth dropped. "close your mouth. you never know what may end up in there" he winked,"anyways, mom wanted me to come tell you that you need to get stuff ready for going to the water park tomorrow." so i guess layla was right. "layla already mentioned it to me. but thanks anyways." i smirked. he turned to walk away, but then turned back " hey kallie?" "yes jacob?" i sighed. "make sure you wear something hot, but not too hot. i dont want the boys to see you and think they have a chance with you, because your already mine." then he closed the door. i was shocked. i could not stand how cocky that boy was. i think its time for someone to put him in his place....

😳😳😳😳. ok. i've been gone forever. you probably thought i like killed myself or something. but i'm still here. and now i WILL BE updating more frequently. that i can assure you of. thank you all for sticking with me so far.

i was STUNNED to see all of the reads the book has gotten. it is amazing. i hope i can make the book better and better for you guys.
