Austin Salvatore

It has been a entire week post the most adventurous day of my life. Note the sarcasm. My inner voice was more sarcastic these days.

And I was right, Ben did manage to save me  and also kept the news away from media and saved another scandal .

Two pair of eyes looked at me. One had a glint of amusement and other seemed worried and both annoyed me. But one cheerful laughter filled the booth.

"Just stop it Summer." I snapped.

"How was your date darling?" Summer cooed in a sweet voice.

Summer White daughter of Colton White a well known cardiologist, my father Kevin's best friend. And will be a very good gynaecologist in future.

Sometimes, I feel that it's not her dream to be a doctor. It's something more.

Summer had always been like a sister to me and I have always been protective about her. So she gets away with many things, like times like these when she annoys the hell out of me.

I sipped my ice tea without replying. Summer was actually on a mission to annoy me.

"You have met two potential candidates this week," Summer chirped.

Yes one week and I have met two of them, Gina and Katrina . Both were nightmare for me.

Peter did shortlist many eligible candidates to be my potential brides.

Peter is definitely best in the field, their agency has provided many people their soulmates, but they take only high profile clients.

Fortunately or unfortunately for me both these dates were disasters.

I winced at the thought, as I replayed the disaster dates in my mind.

Gina accused me of flirting with the waitress ,became all clingy and over possessive within thirty minutes. I know how I managed to escape the situation.

Katrina  was busy seducing me.She was so eager for us to have a private conversation at a more private hotel room next door. That too a honeymoon sweet.

I am not that desperate, moreever this was a big turn off.

The response was immediate, both these women were rejected. I made sure texted Peter and informed him immediately as soon as the dates came to an end.

I sighed and finally looked up at both my closest allies sitting in front of me. One had a mischevious glint in her eyes and other had concern.

"I thought, you must have come up with a counterplan to outsmart grandpa?" Ben asked, worry evident in his voice.

"Aren't you meeting another shortlisted candidate today?" He continued.

I nodded at them and sighed. Without saying a word , I dragged my feet out of the booth.

Thankfully none of them stopped me or probed further query.

The last two dates were held at a known place which made paparazzi get hands on their breaking news. I won't be surprised if they were tipped off. My marriage seems to be a bigger news than the serious on going issues for the media.

I didn't want the same so I decided to select a smaller and newer place to meet Evelyn.

Today I was supposed to meet Evelyn Hood, daughter of a well known producer Mr John Hood.

She was also a director and stepped into direction for her last couple of shows, though there were some rumors about Hood facing financial crisis in the past, they were brushed aside, with the sucess of their new Vampire Series they launched last year. Evelyn has been really a boon for their production house.
