Dolphin Tale 3

Chloe

Sawyer waited in vain as he sat at the airport. It had been three days after Christmas and now he awaited Chloe and her Grandmother's arrival.

He was slightly distracted and worried about himself, his mom, and Hazel. Both he and Hazel were getting emails from a man whom he believed to be his dad.

He didn't want Hazel in this, he was dangerous and he wouldn't forgive himself if something bad happened to her, because of him. And his mom, well she was worried sick. Sawyer didn't know what he would do to her if he found her but he knew it wouldn't be good.

He sighed, he knew he had to push them back and try to think about the lighter thoughts, for example Chloe he was waiting her right now. Anyway his head was hurting from thinking too hard lately.

"Hey sawyer." He looked up at the black haired and blue eyed girl.

She was young and pretty Sawyer admitted he liked her.

"Hey!" He said cheerfully,

"The car isn't too far. I'll fetch it in a moment." He added not sure exactly what to say.

She smiled, "I got to get the luggage first."

"Where's your grandmother?" He asked looking around.

"Oh she is buying a few snack." She said reassuringly.

Sawyer nodded and walked with the girl to pick up the luggage.

"So any news on your brothers cancer?" Sawyer asked deciding to break the silence as he picked up the last suitcase.

Chloe looked down sadly.

"He died right before I got back." She said,

Sawyer could see tears in her eyes.

"I'm sorry." He said looking down as well.

"It's not your doing, anyway the only reason really why I am here is because my aunt believes it will help me." She said in a cheerful tone.

Sawyer nearly fell for it until he saw her sad glance towards the ground.

"Chloe I am sorry for what is happening to you. But I am honored I can show you my home and Winter, I think you might forget your sorrows for a little bit. Not to mention the nice people and friends but you get the point." He said trying to comfort her.

She smiled, "Sawyer, you are a true friend." She said sounding slightly like flirt but Sawyer blushed all the same.

"So I Am curious who Hazel is." She said smiling.

"Oh she is working right now." He said scolding his red cheeks.

Chloe understood what was going on inside of him, "Look what you have done Chloe! Poor guy he was trying to be nice and you are thanking him like that!" A voice yelled inside of her.

"Hey who said it was bad? I mean like he is nice looking and it is fun." another said persuasively, Chloe agreed with the second voice.

"So, is there anything special between you two?" She said knowing full well she was placing her finger perhaps a little too deep. But she knew how to come out clean.

"No! We a-a are just friends." He stuttered,

Chloe raised her eyebrow just right then brought it down, "Well I am little glad." She said congratulating herself.

Sawyer blushed more, and smiled to himself.

Unfortunately Chloe had no idea what she had just done.
