Friendship

Hazel pressed play as she placed her iphone in her sweater jacket, the aquarium was heated up in winter, but it was still cold.

Hazel picked up a bucket as she prepared for her morning feeding time. She first started with the otters, being careful she made sure to place her distance between her fingers and the hungry otters but they were excited that day. Hazel felt good that day too, she nodded her head to Shield by Cozi Zuehlsdorff her favorite singer and song.

Hazel assumed everyone was happy because Sawyer returned, she thought this though mainly because Rufus seemed happy, which was rare.

Hazel was just walking around the corner as she lost herself in Brave Souls also by Cozi Zuehlsdorff. She loved it, it encouraged her to be brave and whatever the world had for her she would face bravely.

But she lost herself a little too much, because who she slightly didn't want to see was coming the other side of the corner at a fast speed.

In a moment there was fish in the air and just a pinch of pain. Sawyer didn't fall but Hazel did, landing on the ground was pretty painful unfortunately.

Hazel rubbed her head and reached for her phone to stop one of her favorite songs. But before she could pick herself up, Sawyer was there to help.

Offering his hand he lifted her up.

"Sorry I should probably stop walking around corners at a fast speed." Sawyer apologised.

"No, it was mine I was a little too deep in thought about a song." She said honestly.

"Hey are you doing anything at three?" Sawyer asked, feeling nervous without knowing why.

"No, last time I checked." Hazel answered.

"We haven't talked in awhile, so I was wondering if we could talk maybe."

"Sure." She responded,

"But I need to finish my daily chores." She added.

"Oh, ya so do I, I need to go shopping." He said trying to gain confidence, but failing utterly.

Hazel laughed at his statement and said, "Meet you at the crowsnest." turning she continued her way smiling.

Sawyer watched her leave, he didn't understand why he was uncomfortable around her, he felt nervous and strange in a way he had never felt before.

He would have to find out later he needed to finish his duties' and go shopping, pausing he let out a laugh at what he had said. He now understood why she had done so, everyone knew he hated shopping.

Sawyer walked to Winter's pool smiling, he wasn't sure why for some reason he was doing these things and having emotions that didn't make sense.

He reached about three feet away from Winters pool stopping, then he ran jumping off the edge, meeting the water without a complaint. He had missed winter so much.

Winter swam to Sawyer tweeting in her highest voice, quickly they both ducked under water.

When they had reached low enough winter did a flip, as Sawyer imitated then grabbing her tail, as they slowly glided thru the water.

Then slowly they faced each other, he smiled as Winter did the same. Then slowly he reached out his hand to touch her. Sawyer was home, and most of all he was with Winter.
