Your the reason I wake up in the morning
Your the reason I'm still here
Your the reason I smile from ear to ear
Your the reason I laugh

But your also the reason I cry myself to sleep
The reason I try to make ever day last
Ever second memorable
Your the reason I'm scared of the future

Because your the reason I know how to love
Your the reason I know how to feel
The reason I feel uneasy about my next move
The reason I try and see the best in everything and everyone tells me I should just give up because love fades away

And they say you will to
But I didn't believe them
I stood up for you and I told them
You would never fade you would always remain
In my heart where you belong

But as the days grew colder
And our love grew older
My lover you started to disconnect yourself from others
Including me

I didn't think much just tried to brush it off
Because I was looking from the inside out
Only to find out that you were looking from the outside in

You were already out of my grasp
But I still didn't give up on you
Even though I watched you walk away
Without a single though of how this made my heart shatter
My head hurt from thinking to much about why you left
My body turn numb because
When you left you took that feeling and all my other feeling with you

Because your the reason I'm sitting here today
Your the reason there's no smile on my face
Your the reason that I don't laugh anymore
But cry at the thought of your name
Your the reason.....
