I don't like the way you look at her
I don't like the way you stare
I don't like the way you care
But I do like it when she isn't there
I don't like it when you say to her
That she means the world to you
I don't like it when you guys kiss
Or show any type of affection to
But I do like when I'm there instead of her for you
I don't like it when you just walk past me and don't acknowledge that I'm here
I don't like it that you both love one another each
Because that's one of my biggest fears
But the thing I really don't like is that I know that your out of reach
I know that I will never get a chance to tell you how I feel
I will never get to experience the way our bodies feel
Against one another
And the worst part of all I know that this is real
I know that it's not a dream
That I can wake up from
It's not a movie scene
That I could just cut from
It's not a book that I could just skip
But it is real life
Something I can't afford to miss...
