His anger was clear to see
Because he was looking at me
His fist raised
His jaw clenched
So i flinched
Due to reality
I knew what was coming
So I didn't fight back
Just looked up to the man
I thought was suppose to love me back
But the love vanished
And was replaced with fear
Fear that one day
He'll be the cause of me not being here
So when his fist came down
And meet my flesh
Over and over again
I didn't let the tears flow
Or the pounding in my head get to me
Not even the black spots clouding my vision
Could get me to look away from the person before me
I just looked at him
