I was dreaming.
Well, at least I think I was.
The big bouncy castle in my room and indoor pool filled with pugs kinda gave it away. Not to mention Miley Cyrus, Beyonce and Selena Gomez were having a twerking contest on my bed. I'm pretty sure that would never happen in reality.
I was standing in front of my window, watching Beyonce beat the others' asses (pun intended) when something made a deflating-balloon noise. Something had popped the bouncy castle next to me. When I looked towards where the sound had come from, I noticed one of the pugs standing in the deflating castle with a little, party hat on it's head. He popped the darn castle with his hat.
I turned around, face emotionless and stared to the outside of the open window.
Everything seemed as if it was made out of chewed up, pink bubblegum (without the excessive amount of spit of course) and people were walking backwards on the streets like it was their everyday routine to do so.
What a time to be alive.
Shaking my head slowly, I closed the window, but continued to stare outside for a full five minutes.
BANG!
Suddenly, I came face to face with a pitch black bird that probably needed some flying lessons. His face was smashed up against the glass of my bedroom window.
Staring back at me, were two big black eyes, almost human like and full of hurt.
Probably because he was smashed against the window, but whatever.
He was slowly sliding down the window, but kept his eyes locked on me, still keeping all the emotion it had showed. The bird blinked a few times before dropping to the ground completely.
Everything went quiet.
BANG!
I bolted upright in bed, heart pounding and breath racing.
BANG!
I looked around me, searching for the source of the noise. I found nothing.
BANG!
"What the-"
BANG!
I realized the bang came from my window and squinted my eyes to take a better look at what had made the noise. I couldn't see anything so I decided to walk closer in hope of seeing something.
I've only been staring at the same space for five full minutes until my eyes adjusted to the dark. Seeing everything almost clearly, I noticed that the space I've been staring at wasn't just anything ordinary like a tree branch or a super sized bug.
They were two black eyes.
Like the ones the bird had in my dream.
I stepped even closer and saw the rest of whom these deep, dark eyes had belonged to and (surprise!) saw that it was in fact, the black bird from my dream.
But....how?
The bird slowly closed it's eyes and pulled back it's head, only to swiftly bring his head forward again and bang it against my bedroom window.
BANG!
He kept his head against my window for a while before pulling back it's head again to repeat it's actions.
