Ron walked out of the kitchen dusting his hands on his "kiss the chef" apron, to find Hermione sat at the low walnut coffee table writing the countless letters necessary to thank all their wedding guests for their beautiful gifts. Ron snuck up behind her and placed a kiss in the crook of her neck, Hermione smiled and turned to look at him, as they went to cup his face Ron caught her hands in his.

"Look at your fingers, they're covered in ink, how'd you manage to get in such a mess, every time?"

Hermione reached up and stole a quick kiss before tapping him on the nose before running off to the other side of the sofa, giggling and saying "look at your nose Ron, it's covered in ink, how'd you manage to make such a mess?"

"Why you little minx!" Hermione squealed as he tore after her, giggling she wove through the furniture out into the hall thinking Ron was following right behind her, but as she got to the open kitchen door she squealed again and turned tail; Ron had cut through the kitchen from the lounge.

"Come here, you" Ron caught her hand and pulled her to him just as she made it back into the lounge, he wrapped his arms around her waist a warm smile on his Paris tanned face. Hermione smiled up at him and encircled his neck with her arms. Ron rubbed his nose back and forth against hers in an Eskimo's kiss.

"Love you, 'Mione." Hermione let out a content sigh, Ron kissed her softly on the lips then pulled away. "Dinner's in 20 minutes." He said as he walked back through the partition into the kitchen. Hermione settled herself back kneeling at the coffee table.

"Okay love."

"Oh, Hermione?" Ron popped his head back through the doorway. "You've got a little something," he said tapping his now clean nose "just there, did you know?"

Hermione picked up a pillow from the nearby sofa and threw it at his head, "Cheeky sod!" Ron dodged the cushion easily and went back to his cooking, laughing.

"Language love."
