Jess' POV
"I like to get my christmas shopping done early. Do you have anything that's in the spirit of the season?" Some guy asked. Ugh! He's been wondering around... for that?! "Uh... how about these crystals?!" Stan offered. I needed to watch this go down. The guy chuckled. "That looks like broken glass." Well at least SOMEONE here has some brain up there.
"What are you a cop?!" Stan asked putting the basket of'crystals' down. "OH! What is that!" The guy said and ran off to look at it. I sighed. I had no idea where the twins were so i was put in this misery...
Then as if on timing, the two brunettes walked in. "Grunkle Stan?" Dipper gets his attention. "Were HUNGRY!" Mabel says. "HUNGRYYY!" Dipper adds on to the weirdness. They did this touching bellies and everything. I walked up to them. "Well, aside from their... i have no idea what that was, it would be nice to actually go out and eat with you guys." I say. Dipper blushed.
"Yeah sure." He says. "As soon as this yahoo makes up his mind!" I say pointing to the guy looking at the fish statue thing. "Do you have this in another animal?" I ignored it and so did stan. "I'm fine with locking him inside if you are." Stan says. We all nodded. So we left the shack with the guy inside. I'm sure he'll still be looking after we get back.
So we ended up going to Greasy's Diner. It was this small diner around town. We all sat down at the table. Dipper and i on one side since Mabel took sides with Stan. The place was crazy southern like. But what do you expect when your out in the middle of the pacific north west. Dipper and i were laughing about the cops weird pancake eating going on. That was until i heard this, "Lazy susan there's my ray of sunshine!" Stan says. AWW! Sort of... Lazy susan had a... well a lazy eye. "Where were you yesterday?!" He asked smoothly. "I got hit by a bus!" She says as if it were no big deal. Um... "HAHAHA! HILARIOUS!" He says.
Okay then....
I didn't pay much attention after that. He ordered and Mabel didn't seem too happy. "But Grunkle Stan i want pancakes." She says. "What am i made of money?" He asks and a dollar is visibly seen in his coat. "Tap Tap." He says tapping the dollar back in. I groaned. Of course. I see Dipper glance at something and i look too. Oh gosh Dipper... "Don't worry guys pancakes are on me." He says cracking his knuckles. "I'm gonna win some by beating that manliness tester." He says. I look to see it. The two laughed. I just blushed looking down.
"What? What's so funny?!" He asked. "No offense Dipper but your not exactly... Manly mannington." Mabel says then continues laughing. I just kept my face looking away from his vision.
"Hey i AM too Manly... Manny or whatever it is you said! Right Jessica?!" He turns to me. I just gave him a sympathetic look. "Jess?" He says. I sighed. "Dipper Mabel's right... you don't really have that much muscle but-"
He stopped me. "Look face the music kid. You got no muscles, you smell like baby wipes..." Stan said. "And i'm sure Jess can't forget last tuesday's... incident." He adds. I blushed as red as i could go. "U-uh.... I really d-don't..." I stuttered. "I um..." I added. I felt my phone vibrate. "I NEED TO TAKE THIS!" I say rather fast and walk aside. I answer the phone. "H-Hello?" I say. Still sweating from the nervousness. "Whoa why are you so Nervous?!" Bill's voice chimes through the phone. "Yeah well... wait how do you know?" I asked. "I can hear it in your voice." He says blunt. "Oh..."
"So... why ya nervous?" He asked. "N-no reason just uh... why are you calling?" I asked trying to change the topic. I see Dipper walking up to the machine. "I was just gonna ask if you were available to hang out today but this seems SO much more interesting!" He says. "I-i um.... I-It's a l-long story okay..." I say. "Well, can we go out and.... talk about it?" He asks. There was no way of avoiding this was there. "F-fine! Just... give me a bit okay?" I say. He agrees and i hang up.
