12. Sumerween

So I noticed that we just recently hot 100+! And it's only chapter 11! Well... now 12.

I just thought I'd give that some recognition.
But, before I start the story, I just want to thank you all!!

Jess' POV 

I got dressed quickly. "Why are you in such a hurry?" Bill asked. "I promised Mabel and Dipper i would be there like an hour ago!" I say. "Oh yeah!" He says. I grumbled. I swiftly slip my shoe's on. Bill opened the door for me before i ran into it. "Thanks. I'll talk to ya later okay?" i say trying to finish the braid in my hair. He gives me a thumbs up. I grab my duffel bag i was supposed to bring with the outfits inside. Tonight was going to be.... different. I ran toward the shack almost tripping over completely nothing. 

It's a new skill i have learned.

I arrive and see them getting ready to get in the car. "Hey look it's Jessica!" Mabel squeals. I was kinda out of breathe. "H-hey!" I say trying to catch my breathe. I finally was able to breathe. I put the costumes in the shack and came back out. I got in the car and we drove to...

"The Summerween Superstore!" Stan says as we exit the vehicle. Stan told me about this so i brought my costume for the upcoming event. "Wait, Summer what?" Dipper says. "Summerween! This town loves halloween so much they celebrate it twice a year!" He explains. I inhaled before looking at the store sign. "And wouldn't you know it! It's today!" He adds. "Do you always carry that calendar in your pocket?" I asked. He looks around. "Yes."

"Summerween? Something about this feels unnatural." mabel says. 

"There's free candy!" Soos sang. The twins looked at each other before smirking. We entered and the twins went wild! I however was not so... 'wild'. 

"TO THE COSTUME ISLE!" They shouted running around. Soos was playing with the skull robotics. "I'd lend you a hand, but i don't seem to have any! huehuehuehuehue!" It says. I groaned. "SIR! Could you PLEASE stop pushing that." One of the employee's say. "Ma'am make these heads less hilarious and you got yourself a deal!" Soos says and pushes the skull once more. 

This morning was not one of my best so... i was in a pretty cruddy mood. I watched as they all raced around and spilled things. I just need some air... 

I walk out and took the time to clear my head.

Later on i hear them running out. Thankfully i was in the car as they sped away. I felt a bit better though. I just- my parents are driving me nuts.

<At the shack that night>

I sat on the floor with Dipper and Mabel. "I am SO excited!" Mabel says. "Were gonna have the BEST costumes and We get lots of candy-" Dipper starts. "-were gonna have the biggest summer ween EVER!" Mabel interrupted. I smirked at their excitement. 

The two high-five. I just continued to my project i was working on. 

"I've never seen you guys so pumped!" Soos says. "Well, back at home me and Dipper were kind of the kings of trick-or-treating!" Mabel says. Sh\\Dipper pulls out a scrapbook and hands it to Mabel. She opens it. I peeked over to see the pictures. "Awe! You guys are cute!" I say. "Twins in costumes! The people eat it up." Mabel says. i could tell Dipper was a bit embarrassed by me saying that. 

I shrugged it off. "Well you dudes better be careful out there! It's night of ghouls and goblins! Not to mention, The Summer Ween Trickster!" Soos says. I stopped. "The Summer Ween What what?" I say. "The trickster goes door to door, or so it goes, eating children who lack the summer ween spirit!" Soos explains. "Uh-huh..." i say. "Welp, you don't half to worry about us! We've got spirit to go around." Dipper says.
