Ik kijk nog steeds met open mond toe. 'Je bent echt gek!' gil ik. 'Je hebt Justin Bieber ingehuurd om te zingen op onze bruiloft!'

Jack lacht en slaat zijn armen van achteren om me heen. Hij drukt een kusje op mijn lippen en wrijft over mijn heupen.

'Ik ben gek op jou', zegt hij met zwoele stem. Ik glimlach en kijk om me heen.

Op een afstandje staan Dave en Laura innig te zoenen.

Ik grinnik zacht en kijk op naar Jack. 'Die gaan ook snel trouwen.' Ik kijk weer naar Dave en Laura en glimlach trots.

Jack maakt een instemmend geluid. 'Het is ook een mooi stel.' Ik knik instemmend.

Er klinkt een harde knal en ik slaak een gil. Vervolgens vallen er allemaal confettislierten naar beneden.

'Gefeliciteerd, Jack en Caitlynn!' Mijn vader en de ouders van Jack komen de tuin instormen, allemaal met een confettipopper in hun handen.

Ik lach en voel kort daarna Jack's lippen op de mijne.

Mijn leven kan niet meer stuk!
