chapter three

Finn's Pov

I was finally able to walk around, but someone had to be with me 24/7 so I didn't further injure myself. Today that someone was Poe today. We were walking to the mess hall when a scream sounded from behind us.

"What was that?" I asked, turning around and heading toward the source of the cry.

"That sounded like Rey," Poe gasped.

We rushed to her quarters and found her twitching on the floor.

I crouched down next to her with a grunt of pain.

"Rey, wake up!" I yelled as I furiously shook her. She screamed and sat up with a start. "You're okay, you're safe," I whispered pulling her into a hug.

"I saw him. He's alive Finn," she sobbed into my chest.

"Who? Who did you see?" Poe asked.

"Kylo Ren. He's alive," Rey replied.

"That's not- that's impossible. You said you killed him Rey!" I gasped.

"I know, but I saw him. He was alive, he- he killed me. I was dead."

"You're alive. You're safe."

General Hux's Pov

I knocked on Captain Phasma's door and waited for her response.

"Captain, I have orders for Supreme Leader Snoke to track down the scavenger girl. You were ordered to come with me."

The door swished open to reveal Captain Phasma.

"When do we leave?" she asked.

She's been crying.

Her short army cut hair was a mess, and her eyes were red and swollen. Her helmet was on the ground next to her bed.

"Are you okay?" I questioned.

"When do we leave?" she said coldly.

"The ship is being prepared as we speak," I replied. She grabbed her helmet and slipped it on. Then she brushed past me, heading toward the hanger with her blaster strapped to her side. I sighed and followed behind her.

Captain Phasma's Pov

Before General Hux came to my quarters, I was looking at a picture of my three year old sister. When that picture was taken, I was fourteen. Then I was ripped from my sister, my family. The First Order thought they had wiped my memory, but I could never forget Lila. My baby sister. Every night I would lie awake, thinking, wondering if she was still alive.

As I boarded the ship and sat at the controls, General Hux spoke up.

General Hux's Pov

"Captain. Set a course for D'qar," I ordered.

"Yes sir," she replied mechanically. Captain Phasma punched in a few numbers on the dash before she brought us into space and then hyperspace.

The entire four hours to D'qar, we didn't talk or look at each other. We just sat at the controls I wanted to know why she was crying, but I didn't ask for fear of my bad guy reputation being taken from me.

I was relieved when the ship came out of hyperspace. A forest planet floated before us as we entered its atmosphere.

Leia's Pov

I needed to find Luke. Fast. A First Order ship had just entered the atmosphere and was headed a few clicks south from the base. As I rounded the corner, I ran right into him.

"Luke, thank the force I found you," I sighed in relief, "there's a First Order ship that is landing a few clicks from this base. I have a feeling they are going to try to attack us."

"Then we must ready Finn, Poe, and Rey. Keep the rest of the base in the dark. I sense there are only two life forms in the ship," Luke replied.

"But what if Kylo Ren is with them?"

"He's not. I will take the three and meet the First Order."

"Are yo sure that's a good idea? Rey's been through a lot, and Finn is still injured," I noted.

"I forgot Finn was injured," he sighed. "Then I will take Poe and Rey . The only reason I'm taking Rey is so she can get some learning experience."

"Fine, just be careful."

"We will."

"May the force be with you," I sighed giving him a hug.

A/N So I've been focusing on this story a lot more than my others, so I'm gonna start working on them.
