Chapter 5

Finn's Pov

I paced inside my small room. They still hadn't returned. Something must've happened. That was just my imagination. Hopefully. Rey is already pretty powerful in the force and she's with a Jedi master and she's with Poe. Hopefully he's okay too. I can't lose a brother; not after I just met him. We still have so many adventures to embark on. I don't even know what they are.

They've been gone too long. I need to find them.

As I turned around to face the door, it swooshed open, revealing a face I didn't recognize, but knew I could trust.

"Sir, General Organa would like to see you," the soldier announced. He stood firm as I nodded my head. His posture reminded me of the mindless storm-troopers who served the First Order, programmed only with orders and obedience. I followed the soldier to the map room where General Organa was talking to an average-sized, dirty blond haired girl. The General looked up when she saw me and the other girl turned around too.

She was beautiful. Her natural features apparent as she smiled brightly at me. The General walked up to me and laughed.

"Finn, close your mouth. It's not polite to stare. Especially at a woman," she smiled.

I close my mouth and quickly stutter a 'hello'.

She smiled again, and held out her hand, "My name is Jane. Regretfully, I have no news about your friends, but-"

Suddenly, shouts erupted from the hall in front of us. I ran to see what was going on, and the faces I saw were the faces I hoped to avoid for the rest of my life. They had found us. General Hux and Captain Phasma were at our front door. Hux was holding a motionless and obviously injured Phasma in his arms and was demanding that Phasma get medical attention. Jane pushed past me and put a hand over her mouth.

"Get the woman to a medical room now! And take the General to the cell block. Make sure he's not armed!" Jane ordered.

The crowd parted, and two nurses, one male and one female, took Captain Phasma from General Hux's arms and rushed her to the infirmary Then, a squad of Resistance soldiers escorted Hux to the cell block.

How did they find us? I heard there was a village on the other side of the planet, but I had also heard they all hated the First Order.

The longer I tried to figure out how they found us, the more puzzled I became. The only explanation that I could think of was that there was a spy in the Resistance, feeding Intel to the First Order. One thing I knew for sure, was that Rey, Poe and Luke Skywalker were still missing, and this base was no longer a secret to the First Order.

Phasma's Pov

I saw shadows. They danced about the dark room I was in. The shadows seem to be mocking and laughing at me. I didn't understand what was going one.

Where am I?

As I tried to move my body, pain exploded from various areas. My chest felt like it was on fire, my head was pulling on my brain, giving me a headache. I saw tiny dots floating in the air. Suddenly, I felt my body start floating toward darkness. It was an endless darkness, from which no light could touch. It felt familiar somehow.

Someone was calling my name. It was like a chant. Phasma Phasma Phasma. The voice sounded familiar. It was female. My body stopped floating and I landed on a cold metal floor. Pain erupted in my body again, making me groan. The voice spoke again. This time louder. Phasma Phasma Phasma! My eyes remained closed, as I was afraid that if I opened them, my nightmare would be real. Phasma! Phasma! PHASMA!
