Chapter Eight: Yes I Am Home

(Niall's P.O.V.)

The boys and I were on a bit of a break so I was at home for a while. I was so happy to be back too, that meant I got to spend time with my family, especially my little nephew. I was really sad I was going to be missing out on most of the little guy's life, but hopefully he'd be excited his uncle was a world famous pop star.

Belle was still in school, but we had convinced her parents to let her fly out to Ireland for a weekend. She was going to leave school early on a Friday and come stay until Sunday morning. I was going crazy with the waiting, but today was only Monday. We had only just gotten her parents to agree yesterday and that took a long time itself.

I had already met them, and now it was Belle's turn to meet my folks. My dad was actually the one who suggested Belle come visit, and all of us happily tried to get her parents to agree. She of course was ecstatic about the idea and begged them to let her. It was only after Jack came around to our side that they agreed. I didn't understand why they had so much trust in her best guy friend, but I wasn't going to question it now.

I was just anxiously waiting her arrival.

I was going to Ireland!!! Not only was it awesome I got to stay with my boyfriend, amazing boyfriend might I add, and his family, but I was also traveling half way around the world! I was so excited I was already packing the second my parents said yes. Okay, maybe I had already started even before that. But still... Oh my god!

Monday after school the gang came over and started preparing for my trip. For me. Because apparently I couldn't handle packing for one little weekend.

"This is more than just hanging out with Niall. You're meeting his family for the first time! This is important," Zo tried to explain as she not so subtly took my clothes out of my suitcase and tossed them aside.

"Guys, I can pick my own outfits."

"But not as well as we can!" Lil burst with smile.

"Whatever," I laughed and plopped down on the bed next to Jack, who was more content playing a game on his phone than helping in the choosing of my wardrobe.

"Okay, so today I made a list of everything you would need," Zo pulled a piece of lined paper out of her bag that was scribbled all over. She handed it to me and I scrolled my eyes down the page. There was literally every single thing I could possibly need, in great detail. Like, exactly how many shirts I would need. Or the specified amount of shampoo that should be transferred to a portable bottle.

I laughed and handed it back to her. She stood herself up on the bed on the other side of Jack, causing him to look up at her. She smiled down at him and placed her hand on the top of his head, spinning it so he was facing away from her.

"No peeking up there mister," she said playfully. The rest of us all saw Jack blush at her accusation, her being the only one who didn't see. But she was smiling with a certain look in her eyes. Then she snapped out of it.

"Let's go guys! We have a whole weekend to prepare for!"

Lil was more than willing to pick through my closet and dressers for outfits I could bring. While Vi went through my loads of make up to pick which ones would be most appropriate and she instructed me on what to have on with which outfits. I was forced to deal with all the little things, like basic toiletries and such like. Zo made Jack scoot off the bed so we could lay everything on it. Once we had checked everything off of Zo's list, and gone over why I had so many extra clothes, the five of us worked at folding everything and squeazing it into my one suitcase. When we were finally done, we all fell exhausted back onto the bed.
