Chapter Fifteen: Progress (Part 1)

(Niall's P.O.V.)

A lot of noise could be heard out in the hallway even from behind the closed door the five of us stood around.

"I said lilac!" We heard someone shout.

"Sorry sorry," we heard a smaller voice peep out.

"It's alright, I just didn't want such a dark shade of purple. We'll survive, though."

"She's going to complain about all of this later," Zayn laughed half-heartedly and stood up from the door. His eyes sparkled with a kind of excitement the rest of us were yet to experience.

"You nervous?" Louis asked. Zayn laughed again,

"of course I'm nervous! But this is going to be really worth it in the end, you know?"

"I hope so. I'm really happy for you," I smiled at him.

"Thanks," he sighed,

"I want everything to go perfectly for her. Although some minor details have already been corrupted, the main point was to make sure the media didn't find out."

"I have yet to see any paps or fans," Harry announced from beside the window.

"You would know, Mr. An-Hour-Late," Liam nudged him.

"I was getting my hair done! It took a little longer than expected," he exclaimed while running a hand through his thick curls.

"Perrie hired someone to do everyone's hair though," Louis pointed out.

"I just got mine done with my own stylist, is that so wrong?" He asked.

"Boys! Can we please stop bickering about Harry's overdone hair and talk about what is happening right now maybe??" Zayn yelled at us. All other conversations ended and we stared at him.

"You're getting married," Liam smiled and grasped Zayn's shoulders.

"I can't believe Zayn is the first to do it," Louis said,

"Little Zayn, who didn't even want to get out of bed that first day."

"If you hadn't you would've never met us and we wouldn't be the band," I said.

"I wouldn't have met Perrie either," he said.

"You're going to spend the rest of your life with her," Harry said,

"doesn't that scare you at all? Lifetime commitment?"

"I'm the one that got her that ring. There is no one else that could make me happier. Perrie is everything to me, and we're going to make this work."

"Because of you, El has been hinting at me getting down on my knee. We've been together more than twice as long as you, you know that right?" Louis teased.

"I'm aware. Sorry, but that's your problem!" Zayn laughed.

"Single for life!" Harry whooped and the rest of us laughed as well. We continued talking until there was a knock at the door.

"Boys, it's time," the wedding planner announced. We took another long look at Zayn, for the last time as a bachelor, and then followed him out the hall.

(Isabella's P.O.V.)

Eleanor and I had reserved seats in the second row on the groom's side, even though we were just as excited about this event for Perrie's sake. I hadn't even met her yet but Eleanor was talking my ear off about how wonderful she was. And of course I already knew loads about her from being a fan. Speaking of fans; Zo, Vi, and Lil were all a little mad at me for not getting them into THE Zerrie wedding. It was all a joke, of course, because I was only allowed to be there as one of the best men's date. Zayn didn't even like me that much, which worried me about meeting Perrie, but I was trying not to let that bother me while I chatted with Eleanor.
