Chapter Twelve: Girls Night Out

(Isabella’s P.O.V.)

After forgiving the boys I could feel so much weight lifted from my shoulders. While I talked to Niall I would sometimes also chat with one of them, and as awkward as it was at first, we were all slowly realizing how alike we all were. Although I did still have a tendency to like Louis the most and after a while of pondering that I decided there was no way I could change it. I would always have a sub conscious grudge against Harry, Liam, and Zayn. Even while we were moving towards these better terms. I learned that first impressions really do mean a lot.

My friends were really excited with the newfound attitude towards the boys, though, because now they could go back to the old days. They fan girled in all their glory again with all intensity and passion. The difference was that now they knew them and I sat on the sides with Jack. The two of us exchanging more glances than usual. Although we had to admit it had been toned down a lot. Vi still liked Liam and had a new hatred for Sophia, and was now admitting to missing Danielle “because she was cool and pretty and wasn’t using Liam for his money.” Lil was just as in love with Zayn as ever, and she kept wanting to plan his wedding for him and Perrie. She was hoping Perrie would put a spunky twist to it. And then of course Zo was all for Harry. He did this and was perfect, he said that and she bursted into tears of laughter. He tweeted something she didn’t understand and minutes were spent researching it until she got it.

Everything was almost back to normal. Except I was dating Niall Horan, as in THE Niall Horan. That would always be different. But the relief of stress from worrying about the boys was causing me to focus on missing Niall, and my friends were quick to come up with a solution.

“We’re having a girls night,” Zo announced as she bounced over to our usual lunch spots, where I had just been sitting alone doing some homework.

“Ugh, all you do is work nowadays,” Vi complained as she joined us.

“Didn’t you know? If she gets her homework done she has time to talk to Niall,” Jack sarcastically responded for me.

“Oh hush,” I blushed.

“This is exactly why we need a girl’s night!” Zo yelled at us before we could bicker about that further.

“I hate it when you guys do that,” Jack hmphed.

“Well deal with it. It isn’t our fault you’re a boy,” Zo told him with a sassy wave of her hand. Jack just gave her a weird look and went back to eating.

“So what do you say?” Lil asked.

“I say fine. But you have to promise we don’t do anything stupid,” I told them all.

“There are no rules to girls night! Except that we are not allowed to talk to others the entire time. From six to midnight. Do you understand me Izz? No Niall. Can you handle that?”

“I can, it’s him that may have an issue with it,” I laughed.

“A whole night?” Niall whined when I told him about my weekend plans.

“Yes, a whole night,” I smiled, “just think of it as this: distance makes the heart grow fonder.”

“I already deal with distance,” Niall pouted.

“Aw come on Ni! We can have a guys’ night!” Louis yelled as he ran across the hotel room in the background.

“We can go get crazy drunk and meet girls!” Harry added.
