Chapter 14: Final!

》Mason's P.O.V《

"Gah!" I beat my fist against the wall. How could he do this! That stupid snow storm. If that hadn't happened she wouldn't be in this mess! 'Why?' I buried my face in my hands as the snow began to fall around me. Jasper came up behind me and patted me on the back. I looked up at him and growled,

"We have to find her." Jasper nodded. He walked into the house and I followed him. We grabbed things from one of the back closets. I grabbed two guns from the tops shelf and three knives from the small crate on the bottom.

Jasper strode out the room. It was already nightfall and the city was asleep. Tomorrow we would leave and I would get Cassy back.

I layer down in bed and tossed and turned unable to sleep. Unable to drift into sweet unconsciousness.

After what felt like like years of waiting the dawn came. It was time. 'Cassy we're coming.' I grabbed all the things I had gathered up earlier. It was time and that brute could've already hurt Cassy. And what did he mean anway "She will be mine. She will love me." Realization struck and I pulled Jasper by the arm as quick as I could to the car.

I drove around the inside of the town. I didn't see anything wrong until I reached the edge of town. The hotels seemed in place and everything, but I had this odd feeling like something was wrong. Then confirming my fears I heard a scream. 'How can they not hear that?' Then I remembered Javier was also a business man. He owned several hotels across the country. How could I be so stupid?! I got out of the car and calmly walked to front desk. They couldn't know why I was here.

"Hello how may I help you?" The woman at the front desk smiled.

"Oh yes," I said politely. "I'm looking for Javier Gonzalez." A look of terror crossed her face.

"Y-yes! Right away. Go to the top floor and the third door. You can't miss it." She waved me off and I went to the elavator. So she knew about Javier too.

I went up stopped on the last floor. I could hear screaming on the other side.

"Cassy!" I screamed. I busted down the door. I saw Javier on top of her touching her how he shouldn't be. I grabbed him and flung him across the room. I looked at Cassy and saw that she was ok. I undid the binds thay held her in place. She cried in my shoulder and there was a 'pop' of a gun. Jasper had finished off Javier. That meant one thing.
He was now the leader of 'Los Muertos.' I kissed Cassy on the head as she cried.

After a while, I went over to Jasper and said, "Congratulations man."

"Wow! I-I'm really the leader?" I nodded. Cassy came up behind me and spoke softly,

"Take me home, Mason." I nodded and we headed back to the mansion.
