Cassy's P.O.V

As I sat there I couldn't help but feel happy toward Mason as we sat there sipping coffee. He had cuddled me last night! I had gone to his room not just because I didn't feel safe, but because I felt happy around him. When he held me he did it with such care that I wanted to smile as wide as I could.

I hissed as I felt a hot sting on the front of my shirt and realized I had spilled coffee all over myself. Mason leapt up and looked at me in horror and yelled for someone to get a rag as if the house was burning down.

"No, no its ok." I muttered. I saw him come up to me with a rag and he began drying up the coffee. I blushed when I felt his hand on my chest and he must've realized it too because he pulled back and muttered, "Sorry." I knew my face was scarlet red but I only nodded. After a few awkward seconds I said,

"May I go change?" His face was just as red as mine as I rushed off to my room to change.

When I got there I slowly closed the door and hopped in the shower. The bathroom became steamy and felt suffocating quickly washed myself and pulled a towel out of the cabinet. I walked to the ginormous walk in closet. I looked around and thought, 'I've never seen so many clothes!'

After what seemed like hours, I finally decided what I was going to wear. I picked out a pair of leggings, studded ankle boots, and a pretty neat tye-dye shirt that hugged my figure nicely.

I decided to walk around the house since my door was no longer locked. I passed many rooms, but I stopped when I caught a glimpse of a conversation.

"She can't stay here!"
"Of course she can! We can't let her leave she knows too much!"

I had recognized the voices of Mason and Jeremy through the door and even though I knew I shouldn't listen in I couldn't help myself.

"You know that's not true! You just want her to stay because you have feelings for her!" I gasped slightly and listened to the rest of what Jeremy had to say. "She's a weakness you can't afford to have! Not to mention that now that they know they'll use her against you!"

"Even more reason to keep her here! Where I can keep and eye on her! They can't get to her here!" Mason roared back. Silence followed for about five minutes.

"You know that's not true." Jeremy whispered back.

Mason was on fire then and punched Jeremy in the face. I gasped and fell back from surprise. I crashed into a table behind me with a loud thud knocking everything on top of it to the floor. Both guys got extremely quiet and a few seconds later I saw Mason come out and help me up with a worried expression on his face.

"Are you hurt? Did you here anything?" He cupped my face in his hands and studied me as if I had broken and there was a crack on my face.

"I'm ok, really it's no big deal. I'll be ok," I replied even though I could feel the bruises forming on my arms. One minute later I saw Jeremy walk out and glare at me.

It wasn't til after Mason had picked that I realized I had a cut on my leg from where the table scratched it on the table. In no time at all I had my leg bandaged up.

After he bandaged me up he looked into my eyes. Then he did something that surprised me. He leaned down and kissed me. I was shocked at first, but slowly and surely I melted into the kiss. The kiss was too short before he pulled away. He cupped my face in his hands and said in a soft voice,

"Cassy. I'm falling for you. You had me since the first time I saw you. I think... No, I know for a fact I love you more than life itself."
